Zambia finished 1-1 away to Botswana in a 2015 CAF U23 Cup first round, first leg qualifier in Lobatse this evening.
Fighton Simukonda’s side took a 13th minute lead through Jackson Chirwa before Botswana equalised in the 73rd minute through Unobatsha Mbaiwa.
The two sides meet in the final leg this Saturday in Lusaka.
Winner will face Cote d’Ivoire in the final round qualifier in July for a place at the Senegal finals from December 5-19.
Three teams from that tournament will qualify to the 2016 Rio Olympics.
