Shepolopolo on Sunday kickoff their campaign for a slot at the 2016 Rio Olympic Games football tournament when they face Mighty Warriors of Zimbabwe at Nkoloma Stadium in Lusaka.
Zambia and Zimbabwe face-off in the first leg, second round match of the Olympics qualifiers in Lusaka prior to the Harare return match next week.
The two sides are familiar with each other as they have met several times in difference competitions.
Last year, Shepolopolo saw off Zimbabwe to qualify for their maiden Africa Women Championship that was held in Namibia in 2014.
Zambia coach Albert Kachinga has predicted a tough game against Zimbabwe and remains confident that his team will triumph.
“There are no easy games these days but I think we will get a positive result,” Kachinga said.
After this round, there are two more stages before Africa’s envoys at next year’s Olympics are decided.
