RTSA Impressed with the progression of Mongu Kalabo Roads and Bridges

The Road Transport and Safety Agency (RTSA) Director Zindaba Soko says the Agency is impressed with the progress made so far on the Mongu-Kalabo Road.

RTSA Director Zindaba Soko who toured the construction works of the road with his entourage was however quick to expressed concern on the safety of road users once the road was complete in order to avoid loss of lives.

Mr. Soko called on Avic International to put in place safety measures in order to avoid loss of lives once the road was completed.

And RTSA Board Chairperson Webster Nonde noted that since road construction works were still progressing, there was time to put side rails as well as other safety measures for the safety of every road user.

Meanwhile, Avic’s Rankin engineering consultant Gabriel Chibuye told ZANIS in a separate interview that 60 percent the works has been done so far and further said that both the road and bridges were expected to be completed soon.

The Mongu-Kalabo Road once complete will easy movements between Mongu and Kalabo Districts as people depend on water transport and will also connect Zambia to neighbouring Angola.

  1. Religion is the greatest con perpetrated by mankind on humans! And we allow it to continue poisoning the minds of children in perpetuity in the face of growing evidence that there is NO creator involved in our existence here or anywhere in the Universe!!

  2. @Asela, you are right about religion, you need Christ, however, and without him you will die in your sins and it will be late when he comes or on the Day of Judgment. May the Lord grant you eyes to see and ears to hear.

  3. Here we have board members who frequent RTSA offices everyday as if they are operatives! They travel night and day to all corners of the country all trying to eat perdiem.

    Do these Pf board members really understand what their work is??

    No wonder government is broke

  4. There is no co-relationship between religion and development. If you are not a believer do not others stumble.
