Today’s Message:Embrace Your Season

Today’s Scripture

“For everything there is a season, a time for every activity under heaven.”
(Ecclesiastes 3:1, NLT)

Embrace Your Season

God has ordained seasons and cycles in our lives. Sometimes, when our dreams aren’t coming to pass on our timetable, we can be tempted to get frustrated. We have to be careful not to allow our attitude to keep us from moving forward.

In God’s kingdom, every season is not harvest. There are plowing seasons, planting seasons and watering seasons. Sure, we would love for every season to be a time of increase; but without the other seasons, we wouldn’t be prepared. It’s during the plowing seasons that God brings issues to light that we need to deal with. He’s getting us prepared for promotion.

If you’re not making as much progress as you would like, the key is not to lose any ground. Don’t go backwards. Hold your position by keeping an attitude of faith and expectancy, even when it’s hard. Keep plowing by speaking the Word daily. Keep pressing through because soon you will come in to your due season!

A Prayer for Today

“Father, thank You for Your faithfulness in all seasons of my life. I trust that my time is coming, and I choose to remain faithful. I submit my ways to You today and trust that You have the best plan for my life in Jesus’ name. Amen.”

  1. Your message has become monotonous and boring. You always talk about “dreams, vision, God’s plan and harvest seasons”. Is this the ONLY reflection you come up with in the bible? Why can’t you preach about Jesus’ message of love, forgiveness, discipleship, etc.

    • Christianity tells us that a talking snake tricked the first humans into learning stuff by eating a piece of fruit and this angered god. After interfering in Middle Eastern politics for a bit, directly involving himself in a few battles, and causing incredible and unusual natural disasters no one thought to write about or record, he had a son. He knocked up an unwed teenager, who claimed it was God’s baby in an era when she would have been executed for having sex. He then sent his son, who is himself, to do miracles around Roman occupied Palestine. Once again, despite accomplishing incredible feats, neither the Jews nor the Romans thought this was noteworthy enough to talk about or write down. He then killed himself to forgive us, and went to heaven. And then he went about deleting all…

    • ……………………. evidence of his existence. Because he is mysterious, he created Hell to torture us forever if we doubt he is real, despite thousands of religions saying they are right, too. But as a token of goodwill, he occasionally will appear on toast.

What part of that is improbable?

  2. I’m going to sue God, and his ghost writers because if “with God all things are possible” — Where are my Billions$$$$$?

  3. There is nothing Yesus did that people have not done many times over. Except for what is attributed to him, the young man had no powers whatsoever. That is the reason he was beaten like a rabid dog!

Before he was born, he people died. After he’d gone, people still die. And somebody wants to tell me he listens to them and performs a little miracle here and there, what a bunch of crap! If indeed he had might, why hasn’t he figured out how to deal with his first offender Lucifer? The first record of failure! Never solved any problem after that. Maybe Lucifer was right after all.
