New Nkana signings cheer Chiyangi

Share

Coach Aggrey Chiyangi is satisfied with the quality of players Nkana have acquired in the current mid-season transfer window.

Nkana have signed top Kenyan striker Jacob Keli from AFC Leopards, Ghanaian Osman Kamil from Hearts of Oak, midfielder Richard Kasonde who was at Power Dynamos and Walter Bwalya from Forest Rangers.

Chiyangi believes the signings will bolster Nkana’s performance in the second part of the FAZ Super Division season.

“We have acquired very good players,” he said.

“Some of these players like Kasonde you have watched them. They will add value to the team,” Chiyangi said.

Struggling Nkana are 12th on the 16-team league table with 17 points from 15 games.

“We will keep working on the team until it becomes the Nkana we know,” Chiyangi added.

Nkana are on Wednesday scheduled to begin their second round campaign at Red Arrows in Lusaka in a delayed Week 16 tie.

Nkana are 21 points behind league leaders Zesco United.

    • I beg to disagree. The performance of the national team depends on t FAZ,National team coach and performance of all the Zambian clubs and just not on a single club. When Zambia won AFCON,how many players did Nkana contribute?

  1. kuwayawaya fye ba nkana nangu mushite shani ba player muli makula fye kuchipokele fye. mukacita improve nga mwafuma mu devission one’

  2. Do they have the capacity to pay a single player $2000 per month they have agreed with this kenyan player? Let’s hope they won’t embarrass Zambian football by failing to honour the contract.

  3. nchanga rangers are the best team for better chingola.we are behind nchanga rangers brave mule mwenako lelo. from now nkana football team go mu division one & come back in premier maybe u are gowing to improve mwila sebanya icalo cesu. ayo amakula mulete yakapumwa mukanyela ku seace ba pushi mwebale sapota fi nkana.
