Sports Zambia continues to slide on FIFA rankings

Zambia has dropped another two points down the FIFA rankings.

Chipolopolo fell from 71 in July to 73 in August on the latest rankings released by FIFA on Thursday.

Zambia are 18th in Africa.

Their 2017 Africa Cup Group E qualifiers opponents Congo-Brazzaville are 43rd, Kenya is 116th while Guinea Bissau, who held Zambia to a 0-0 draw in their pool opener in June, are at 142.

  1. FIFA, like the IMF and Fitch, cannot be fooled by window dressing. The numbers are the bottom line and they do not pass the smell test.
