Local Chipolopolo players briefly broke up camp ahead next month’s 2017 Africa Cup qualifier against Kenya to attend the workshop on

FAZ spokesperson Nkweto Tembwe says the move is aimed at giving the players a better understanding of financial matters.

“Our players are being taught football when in camp but it is also important to give them knowledge of how to handle their financial
matters” Tembwe said.

Some of the issues tackled during this training included investment options, psychology of money and sports career span

  1. Surely you are taking the wrong people for financial literacy training…it should be Galu and his empty suits who should be taking these lessons…imagine they are still unashamedly being spoonfed on taxpayers funds.

    • Did FAZ pay to Barclays reps who want to rip off those local players of peanuts from financially struggling teams?

    • Zambia national soccer team players on Wednesday underwent a financial literacy training conducted by Barclays Bank and Junior achievement

  2. Waste of time. They should have started in pysocologicsl training do that they believe that they can beat any team in the world anywhere anytime.

  3. Pysocologicsl training needed for than even football training. Financial as if they will big games and cups. They should be jailed if they loose. If they draw or loose do you still pay them

  4. Great move. Our beloved football players/sports men need such training or work shops, this will enable them know the importance of saving, investing a handling their finances well. They should never just ‘live in’the moment when they have funds but also strategies on how their lives will be when they retire. I strongly feel our artist also need such training, it is education that will enable our people move forward, if they start thinking positively, the country will be able to move forward.
