The ruling Patriotic Front has charged that the people of Zambia are failing to take the opposition UPND seriously because the character assassination kind of politics they have engaged in.
Speaking during a press briefing in Lusaka this afternoon, PF Media and Publicity Committee Vice Chairman Sunday Chanda said that the people of Zambia expect someone aspiring to take the mantle of leadership such as Mr Hakainde Hichilema to provide alternative solutions to the challenges they may be facing unlike talking about things that do not take the country forward.
He said that Mr. Hichilema is failing to inspire confidence in the people as he is failing to provide leadership even when he is still in the opposition.
Mr. Chanda said that Mr. Hichilema’s address to the media today failed to provide direction saying most people were expecting him to guide the nation on important issues.
Hahaha so you think “Etikar” inspires confidence ? Funny!!!
HH was at his best today. If only Sunday and the Party he represents could take time and learn a thing or two from HH, they would govern us a lot better. Well Mr. Chanda, you are always complaining about opposition “politicizing” without offering solution. Now you been given extensive list of grievances and if you are smart, it is last chance for President to exercise His authority and address malaise affecting, not just Him, but whole of your party.
The way forward has been stated without any political embroidery, it is for the Leadership of PF to decide either to stick with current confusing and uncharted course which will lead, not just to eventual demise of your party but also cause suffering to millions of Zambians in near future or to take notice of your own miriade of short-commings
of short-comings and act decisively to reverse current unsustainable situation, not just for the benefits of Zambians but also for the existence and legacy of your party.
Mr. Chanda, the confidence of the People of Zambia in PF and its Leadership is a real issue, not the confidence in to opposition parties.
Hear advice and act upon it or accept inevitability and disappear in to the history. Choice of the future relationship between People of Zambia and PF is in PF hands and not in HH. Act of perish. Choice is yours.
