I am always sceptical when i see white people interested in the affairs of the african especially when they want to help. since when did we become people in their eyes that they would care about our plight.it was just 50 years ago, we were equated to monkeys with an IQ of an average european child. thats why they refered to us as boy or girl. hence the terms we now use also ignorantly as kaboyi (ka boy), garden boy etc. This is all scripted, what chief speaks to his subjects in english?who said a girl becomes a woman at 18 years. why 18?    • well, my arguement is that we use the three Cress recommendations for starting a family especially as we fight a white supremacist world. we can not wage struggle when the people are weak. It has to do with according a child the necessary lap time:
     1. A man should have children when he is atleast 35 years old and a woman should have children when she is atleast 30 years old.
     2. So before child bearing, we should be going to school and bettering ourselves
     3. The children should be born atleast 3 years apart and no more than 3 children (adequate laptime for each child).
     These recommendations can change after we have beaten white supremacy.

2. Outsiders have nothing to do with child marriages in Zambia. It is our culture that is sick and rotten to the core. In Eastern Province parent insist on the girl child to marry at the age of 14. I am Zambia and have spoken to fathers of these children. They claim that once the girl has reached maturity, they marry them off so that they are not “damaged”…! Damaged by what?
   Women cannot wait to have children until the age of 30. The life-cycle changes the hormones – that is when you see deformities and disabilities in children born from older parents. People should marry at a comfortable age of 21+ if they can afford to and have settled in their jobs.

4. It’s incredible how we love to play the blame game. Forced marriage of young girls is not good for the girls and does not benefit a country. Young girls can die due to pregnancy complications because their bodies have not developed fully. Instead of a girl going to school and getting an education so she can benefit society, she is stuck being at home raising a family, which adds to poverty. How can that girl go to school and who will take care of the children? If the man leaves her for another child bride then the cycle continues leading to more uneducated girls. Education is the way forward and these girls can teach and mentor other girls in finishing school which benefits society as a whole.
