Sunzu starts but no joy at Lille

Stopilla Sunzu on Friday night made his first start in three appearances for French Lille 1 side Lille.

The Zambia defender played the opening 70 minutes in Lille’s 1-0 away loss to Reims before he was replaced by Sehrou Guirassy

Lille are 11th after the loss to third placed Reims

Ans on the same night down in Ligue 2, striker Emmanuel Mayuka made his second successive start in four games for Metz who drew 1-1 away to 15th placed Le Harve to see them drop to second place.

Mayuka, who played the full 90 minutes, was not on target.

  1. This is how useless Zambian football has become ……one is on loan and the other is playing in a division 1 French League…surely is no emerging talent in this country?

  2. It would hate us to start from scratch building football primary schools. Having proper structures at an early age for youngsters. It seems like we are scared to have a 20 year plan.
