Stopilla Sunzu on Wednesday night scored his first competitive goal for Lille.
The Zambia defender scored one goal in Lille’s 2-1 victory over Troyes in the last 16 of the French Ligue Cup.
Sunzu, who missed Lille’s 2-1 home loss to Olympique Marseille in a Ligue 1 match over the weekend due to suspension, equalised for Lille in the 49th minute after Troyes had taken a 1-0 lead into the break.
The defender, who is on a season-long loan move from Chinese club Shanghai Shenhua, played the full 90 minutes for Lille in the Ligue Cup game.
All the best Sunzu. Please Aim for the EPL as you have the qualities to play in that competitive league. We long to watch Zambians play in the EPL and am sure you can do it.
