First Lady Esther Lungu expected in Southern Province for working visit

FIRST Lady Esther Lungu is today expected in Southern Province for a working visit on among other areas, seeing the women’s empowerment projects.

Provincial Permanent Secretary Sibanze Simuchoba confirmed the First Lady’s visit in an interview yesterday.

“We expect the First Lady (Ms Lungu) tomorrow (today) in the province where she will visit some districts on among other projects seeing women’s empowerment clubs,” he said.

According to Mr Simuchoba, Ms Lungu would start her programme in Pemba district today where she would visit Kachomba area and Kasiya Secretarial College.

Ms Lungu was expected to commission a laboratory for the Zambia Information Communications and Technology Authority (ZICTA) at Choma’s Saint Mulumba Special School of the Disabled Children and would also visit a women’s club in Batoka area on Wednesday.

Mr Simuchoba said that the First Lady would also travel to Kalomo district on Thursday to visit some projects.

  3. Zonda uzalema. For us it is PF for 2016. Though I believe a visit to Southern province is just a waste of time. The maggots in mabisi has contaminated their brains.
