Information and Broadcasting Services Minister, Chishimba Kambwili, says the PF government has accomplished unprecedented development since assuming power in 2011.

Mr Kambwili, who is also Chief Government Spokesperson, says road construction projects, infrastructural development in health and education sectors are some of the landmark achievements which have also helped create jobs for Zambians.

He added that the PF-led government decided to prioritise construction projects as a way of opening up areas to socio-economic development.

Speaking when he called on Northern Province Minister, Freedom Sikazwe, in Kasama today, Mr Kambwili said the Link Zambia 8, 000 has helped in minimising mobility challenges people faced in the past.

He observed that the newly-constructed Mansa–Luwingu and Mbala–Nakonde Roads will go a long way in boosting economic activities in the northern region of the country.
Mr Kambwili, who is also Roan Member of Parliament, also stated that the PF deserves another mandate in order to continue with its development agenda.

And Mr Kambwili has urged Zambians not to be swayed by some opposition party leaders who he said were aspiring for president with intent of enriching their business.
Earlier, Northern Province Minister, Freedom Sikazwe, complained some districts in the region do not receive Zambia National Broadcasting Corporation (ZNBC) radio and television signal.

Mr Sikazwe disclosed that people in the said areas rely on foreign media stations for news and entertainment.

He appealed to the information minister to address the matter.

Mr Sikazwe, however, praised Radio Mano community station for keeping people of Kasama and the surrounding areas informed.

But Mr Kambwili has assured Mr Sikazwe that challenges in ZNBC radio and TV signal will be resolved during phase two of the digital migration programme.

The Chief Government Spokesperson is on a tour of Northern Province to explain government programmes and amendments to the republican constitution.

  1. The race between Edgar Lungu and Jack Mwiimbu will be very tight. It will interesting to see who gets to state house between the two.

    • Obsever we in the UPND security team take seriously your comments.where do you think HH will be for Mwimbu to stand against Lungu. What happened to Mazoka will not repeat.Dont even dream about. If by mistake it happens Zambia will be on fire.HH will file for his nomination and will vote on 11th Augast,2016.

  2. This is very true as only UNIP can be compared to what PF has done in 4 years especially in infrustrature development!!WE MUST VOTE FOR PF IN 2016 SO THAT WE CAN CONTINUE GETTING NEW ROADS,HOSPITALS,SCHOOLS,DISTRICTS,ETC!!

    • @ Eddy

Do you REALLY think (?) that there is anybody willing to see repetition of slow, painful and inevitable end of UNIP?
Let us save further 4 years of accelerated economical decline before meltdown and IMF.

    • “He observed that the newly-constructed Mansa–Luwingu and Mbala–Nakonde Roads will go a long way in boosting economic activities in the northern region of the country.”

It summarises the PFs “regional” developmental agenda. Why couldn’t you do one road in each province? All infrastructure projects are the fruits of the hardwork of Levy Mwanawasa. Its always amusing to hear politicians like kambwiili boast about projects paid for by tax payers as if they are done using their own money.

    • In Politics you can choose the right leaders to do the right things or choose the wrong leaders and beg them to do the right things.

    • At what cost you bafoon. Anybody can develop by carelessly throwing borrowed money at unproductive projects. You have wasted millions and our children will have to pay!

    • Wanza wenu, you r talking about those roads in northern /muchinga which contribute very little or nothing to GDP and yet the solwezi/chingola road which brings in money is neglected. This is tribalism. Wanza wenu.

    • Going by number of responses you have attracted brother, am just left with one option for you. I suggest you need a brain transplant.
Who in his normal state of mind can vote for this people again! I wud rather sell my soul to the devil than voting for this clueless gang of brainless niggas.

    • @3.0Eddy! You show the basic problem of PF. Building roads & Hospitals is NOT development! Creating an INDUSTRIAL base for the country is development. Roads are not an end in themselves; they are a means to an end. Kambwili thinks he has arrived when the journey has not even started! Has any cost/benefit analysis been done when deciding which road to build and WHEN?

  3. I Hon. Kambwili, I wish you talked about the future vividly so that we can see where you are trying to take us. Right now we have low food supplies, the worst job losses, skyrocketing inflation, depletion of govt reserves, oil/fuel prices, load shedding and more. What are the strategic, tactical and operational plans for this country? Give us a hint you are thinking about what is ahead of time; that is leadership. You are being historical as opposed to futuristic. You are in charge of govt for goodness’ sake! Inspire this nation; show the direction of the light so that we can be redirected.

    • @ Ntaulu
I am afraid that our Honorable MP, Minister in Charge of Information, owner of OUR media and flickering “light” of party executive “intelligentsia” understand difference between historical and futuristic?
Wait for @UFO contribution to see level of understanding of “futuristic”.

    • Ntaulu, who told you this you villager? Don’t lie with things you don’t know and which have no meaning in your village.

    • Ntaulu
Be fair to the illiterate gradute the questions you pose are beyond himask him about pabwato and the like not those issues. You are the pipo that cause him to insult. How can you ask Kambwili.Ati “what are the operational, tactical and operational strategies” that is like asking a Grade 7 to solve calculus.Ask him about infrastrural development you may get an answer.VIVA KAMBWILI VIVA.

  4. With Jack Mwiimbu against Edgar Lungu PF cannot take things for granted. UPND are rebranding and could just spring a surprise.

  5. Eddy I think you dont just have brains. Do you know what you are talking about?
Its very important to think first before you say anything. The PF project have put us in a mess. it will take over 30 years to repay the debt incurred by these fools. Your thinking is exactly that of Kambwili

  6. Shameless Lungu Dora Rupiah PF agent asking for another opportunity to:

    Increase prices fourfold
    Increase inflation by over 400%
    Depreciate the Kwacha by 150%
    Borrow another $10 billion
Export maize cheaply to Mugabe and import high
    Magnify corruption to unprecedented levels
Steal from motorists through high fuel prices

This is the 5 year disastrous legacy of PF.

    • iMWE NAIMWE
Don’t blame the illiterate Minister “IT IS GLOBAL”At the very least ask him how much the BENZ he is seen with during weekends cost. Not that nonsense.

    • Denb
That is very annoying. Why are you asking the Honourable Kambwili how many shares he owns in ZNBC?HAVE YOU NOT SEEN THAT HE SHARES HIS WISDOM WITH US?

    • Janet Mwila
It is very importat that the Honourable illiterate Graduate Kambwili explains his vision. Are you not aware that he seeks to be Zambian President soon. What time will kadansa have to explain these things to you?Besides he is now sick and tired of eating T-Bone.Time now to try out some monkey meat.

  7. Who should say PF deserves another mandate, is it the ministers or the people? You can repeat your statements about deserving but you will only be sounding gong. We will judge you for your fruits, roads, economy, governance unity etc not just one issue

  8. Dunderhead Kashimba Chimbwili. It’s not just a question of your so called massive infra- structure development,,, I think blind infrastructure development is a more appropriate term. At what expense have you achieved this? Depleting the national treasury? Did you do any cost-benefit assessment? You think the previous MMD government didn’t also have the base/primitive instinct to indulge in the so called massive infrastructure development? Of course they did but luckily they had a fully developed neo-cortex,, this is the part of the brain that inhibits the primitive reflexes that emanate from the paleo cortex ( primitive brain) and limbic system. Example, you want to go out in the street and start peeing, that’s a reflex need from your paleo cortex but your neo cortex comes in to…

  9. Neo cortex comes in to Inhibit this primitive reflex and tells you to wait and find the nearest toilet. A dog does not possess a neocortex so it will go ahead and relieve itself in the street. Similarly a child with a still to develop neocortex will go and pee in the street. Same as a drunk or mad person whose neo cortex has been disabled

    • The PF neo cortex is deformed. That is why they cant resist the temptation to do things considered abnormal in a civilized society like sending thugs/cadres to stand in front of a plane at the airport.Embeciles of the worst kind.

    • Common Criminal
Just imagine. You think Honourable Illiterate Graduate Kambwili has time to fetch a dictionary? How can you be so petty talk about infrastratural development he will answer you with immediate effect. Not that “Neo…” ntwenokani.

  10. At times let our past dictate our future. Kambwili, how you have spent your first 5 years in office will automatically determines your call for another term. Anything else is rhetoric.

  11. Unprecedented borrowings (over $12 billion) in four years to fund grand corruption under the guise of infrastructure projects done without any quality control let alone return on investment appraisal. PF mortgaged future generation to HIPC status because of corruption.

Is it any wonder that Dora, Kaingu and RB are now central politburo of Lungu PF?

  12. Yaba..was the money for the infrastructure development earned by GRZ through a prudent tax regime or it was borrowed from loan sharks at exorbitant interest rates? You don’t deserve even a single vote from us ba PF.

  13. @Eddy is an alias for Kambwili. That is how he is the first to comment for his blog news items especially on Zambia Reports. He was previously known as the Marcian

  14. Where has this Silverback been in the past week? Was he still looking around for the next dumbest thing to spit out of his funky smelling mouth?

  15. I feel sorry for the PF supporter because they think that by not voting for UPND/HH they are purnishing them and yet its the some poor people who are affected even the more.
HH may never be president but your suffering will always be with you, No jobs, No money, No food, No water, No medicines in Hospital.
Keep on putting the wrong people in government as you prolong your suffering, Zambia is where it is today because of poor leadership and this was proved right when we had good leadership in the late Mwanawasa, things changed for the better.
In short good leadership makes a big difference, Everyone can see that EL has no leadership qualities but they vote for him thinking they are purnishing HH, well my prayer is that EL remains in power so that your suffering can get even worse.

    • You have hit it right on the button.I also hope PF wins just to punish the pipo who went to dance naked at midnight. And there is a very real likelihood that they will win since they have the benefit of incumbency.I also hope that Edgar wins so that his complete incompetency is revealed.Today he is saying “GLOBAL” what will he say when when there is no global to blame.A serious President cant make Kambwili the fa ce of Government. But let him keep him that is what he deserves for his incompetency.

  16. any one can build what you are talking about with borrowed manee, the trick is using your own manee that you produced as a country

  17. We meed more explanation on how the borrowed Euro bond is going to be paid, back when ABC is on record that our reserves have been depleted, to me it’s business as usual te fyo ba P F? Awe sure, we are experiencing high cost of ubunga, bread, power, water, there is no relief in sight. It’s is the duty for a functional government to construct roads, hospitals, schools etc, to dunderheads, they can marvel about road construction done poorly at astronomical, price, we know what is happening, no wonder Zambia made a world record in having Dollar millionaires, check Forbes website, I am not UPND but I need convincing reasons as to why I should vote PF!

  18. Have you all observed something in Kambwili`s speech? I think for the first time he listened to his boss, no more hate speeches and no tribalism speech, this is a great improvement. Kambwili hats off!!!!!

Praise where it is due, atleast to encourage him, to understand that if he will be giving such speeches i dont think UNPD cadres will be pissed off as they are to date and it will be fair for him to demand an additional term and if the people of Zambia agree, then well and fine.

Todate he has not been fair by labelling UNPD as a tribalist party. He is growing up now.

  20. I want to make it very clear to every blind supporter of the perpetual loser and political faliure HH,that pf has done so much to all parts of the country Zambia.1,roads that the pf has built. 2. Universities and secondary schools. 3. Universities and hospitals. 4,the abuse of office clause which mmd had removed brought back.5 minimum wage, salaries for the civil servants increased. 6 tax threash hold has been increased.7.The promised constitution. To mention just but a few.

  21. HH will be taught a lesson of his life. This tribalist will be sent into political retirement in a painfull way. The man who always wished Sata ill untill he died. Thats why God will never allow this man to ever rule Zambia. The man who was saying its God’s time for him to rule thats why God had allowed Sata to die. I was shocked to hear such wickedness from HH.

  22. Government ya fikopo iyi kwena. Do these Useless Ministers even listen to themselves? For sure its Project Failure (PF). These criminals are the best example of Corruption, Bribery, Theft, Tribalism and common Pathetic Failure. As the nation votes, please look at the National Debt, look at the Exchange rates, look at the inflation rates, look at the dictatorial tendencies and look at the breakdown of law and order. Think about the mealie meal prices, load shedding and hunger that is looking. Pathetic Performers.

    • Chewe the Virgin take ubututu bobe to other media houses on LT we debate issues not tisues.Jelouse will kill you.Any rich man ati ni devil “Bashonongo”song is trying to educate back ward people like you.Mulebwesha ichalo kunuma.VIVA HH.VIVA one Zambia.

  24. PF is fine and has done god work, but the problem is Lungu… and RB and Dora. To me that’s no longer PF, that’s a hijack of Sata’s party. Cadres threatening me with violence is not going to get my vote

  25. Had I been Chimbwiili, instead of angling for another term I would actually be searching for a place of refuge to live out one of the most destructive and obnoxious lives this country has ever seen. But then, we all know this most tribally bigoted of buffoons has absolutely zero sense of danger, he will easily be the first of Sata’s lumpens to be lynched, and he will wonder why in a typical Muammar Muhammad Abu Minyar al-Gaddafi that fateful day in Sirte!

  26. I honestly wonder why people say Sata had a vision, my foot! The only vision if any that bigot had was the “Bisanization” of Zambia. He is the one hateful bigot who engendered and let fester a dangerous and naked brand of tribalism that has given rise to the current balkanization of Zambia. In many parts of Zambia, they celebrated his demise and most will cherish his appearance in court with Kabimba where he clearly manifested traits of “masalamusi” and we all knew then that its just a matter of days or months before the lumpen kicks the bucket and halleluiah it was to be! I’m glad too he died in London, so let his soul dwell the London tube stations, sweeping them clean like he did before.

  27. I think PF’s time is over , why do I say so? Look at this:
    (1) Increased poverty
    (2) increased load shedding
    (3) Poor Kwacha in 2011 it was trading at about K5. now 4 years later it is now at K11.50
    (4) High cost of leaving directed to voters
    (5) No jobs for voters
    (6) Poor health facilities for voters

But we will remember PF for good roads yes job well done on that one.

  28. PF has done wonders, if you are lazy keep on complaining even the satanist HH wont bring food on to your table .Keep on complaining ifwe kuno Kasama, mansa, chinsali,Chipata it is PF all the way. More roads, hospitals and schools. You think blogging will win the freemanson votes!continue waisting your time.

  29. Kapps ( Kapotwe)

You are not even in Mansa , you are just in Lusaka, I forgive you because I personally know you very well, you do not understand anything about economics but only castle from ZB. When we talk about simple economics you have no idea.

  30. Will be taking ourselves to the grave if PF are voted back to power. I’m glad that young people are able to see the message this party has created and see looking forward to August 11

  31. Kambwili on Northern Province tour. I thought the Veep has already been there and people understood her explaination on PF Govt. development delivery achievements and what needs to be done. Now Kambwili goes to explain the same things. Where is coordination. This is guy will us undo the damage control done by Madam Inonge Wina.

  32. PF is winning. Opposition are cerebrating over nothing. The indicators on the ground do not show as though opposition parties can win. It is only in the post and watchdog where i see 100% HH has won. Please let us all vote our Tonga friends did in the last election. That is good indeed. Wina azalira nafuti. Am not tribal but factual. To kill the Tonga party beat HH in 2016, they will scatter and cry like lost sheep.

  33. @chumbu munsholola stop insulting Zambians. Its very wrong to think that only your HH can change the economy of this country. only Tongas think HH is everything. We are not voting him so that you see if the economy will not improve

  34. Ba ek, eeeh fwe nama Tukavotela HH, a better manager, Tina zigonga in 2011, that’s why I always say only a John solye inshima, will see nothing wrong with the current economic climate!
