Nkana on Saturday reached the final of the inaugural Mafro Sports bankrolled four-club pre-season tournament after struggling to beat Lumwana Radiants 1-0 in Wusakile.
Singaporean kit manufacturer Mafro Sports is staging the two-day tournament at Nkana Stadium as a launch pad for its brand in Zambia.
In this second semi-final, Congolese forward Guily Manziba tapped in the lone goal from close range after 60 minutes as Nkana overcame a determined Lumwana side.
Aggrey Chiyangi’s Nkana will now face Forest Rangers in Sunday’s final at Nkana Stadium.
Forest advanced to the final after beating DR Congo side Don Bosco 1-0 in the 13h00 kick off match.
Experienced Fores striker Graven Chitalu scored the goal after 51 minutes.
Meanwhile, Don Bosco and Lumwana will clash in the third and fourth play-off at 13h00 before Nkana and Forest face off in the final two hours later.
