The Cholera outbreak has now reached 290 cases country wide.
Health Deputy Minister Dr Chitalu Chilufya told a media briefing that four deaths have been recorded as of 19th March 2016.
Dr Chilufya said the Ministry recorded 17 new cases in Nsama district of Luapula.
He said the rest of the new cases have come from Bauleni compound in Lusaka.
Dr Chilufya said the Ministry will continue to enhance sensitization efforts on sanitation and increase access to clean water in order to fight the outbreak
He also revealed that 59 Cholera cases are under treatment.
PF have been borrowing on different occasions for water and sanitation totalling $900 million.
But as usual no one in PF can account for this money while cholera is ravaging zambians.
The incoming GRZ needs to account for all these borrowed monies.
I’m bring my own bottled water. Wonder if my luggage weight allowance will allow it! Frightening.
Tourists are turning away, we don’t need this right now or any time come to think of it.
why should people due to cholera in a capital city where the president and ministers live and these constituencies belong to the ruling party. It is shame
When people complain & say P.F has borrowed Millions upon Millions of U$Dollars, but failed to account for where the Millions of Dollars meant for sanitation have gone, boneheaded P.F Cadres froth @ the mouth, blabbering about “Infrastructusal Development, 75% of which was initiated by the now defunct M.M.D, government.
These Cadres also belch out sulphuric- wind like, “You are just bitter”. Most of these Cadres are so dense upstairs they cannot even give a proper definition of what the word “bitter” means.
To P.F Cholera means Development, & its global, so how dare you criticise us.

Thats Africa. Cities are dirty. People urinate and defaecate anywhere. Shame. Where are the African leaders? Busy talking nonsense while the people are dying. People should also be responsible. Emulate European countries where the streets are in spick and span.
Environmental health services or is it public health is reactive than proactive! So embarrassing that cholera is cyclical and is a yearly occurrence! Malaria is another menace and all we hear is sensitization efforts are being stepped up while rising deaths are proof that efforts are not paying off!
