Dr Mumba says whatever calls made by a faction of the party over the planned convention will amount to nothing.

MMD members led by National Secretary Mwansa Mbulakulima and fomer Lunte Member of Parliament Felix Mutati are demanding a convention.
Mr Mbulakulima on Wednesday announced that that the MMD will hold a convention on Saturday next week in Kabwe.

Yes suspended Mbulakulima and expelled Mutati have no regards to law and order. Instead of working on their suspensions they want to be adamant and carry out a coup de tat. Dr Mumba just quit in the best interest of the party otherwise u will forever b fighting and come August elections u will not even get a significant amount of votes. It is clear that the mmd has been in turmoil since Mumba took the reigns.
