    • PRESIDENT LUNGU IF YOU ARE READING. I SUGGEST YOU DO THE RIGHT THING AND ALLOW ZAMBIANS TO VOTE GENUINELY. I DO NOT SUPPORT YOU PRESIDENCY BECAUSE I THINK YOU ARE NOT CAPABLE BUT DON’T ATTEMPT TO JEOPARDIZE THE WILL OF THE PEOPLE. JUST WIN A CLEAN ELECTION, IF ANYTHING YOU ARE THE INCUMBENT AND ARE ALREADY AT AN ADVANTAGE. I HOPE THIS TRIP HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH TEMPERING WITH THE ELECTION BECAUSE HONESTLY THE FOREIGN AFFAIRS MINISTER WOULD HAVE GONE SINCE YOU KEPT THEM AROUND WHILE YOU STAY AND CONTINUE TO DEAL WITH ISSUES.

    • WASHINGTON — The Senate unanimously passed a bill Tuesday to let the families of 9/11 victims sue Saudi Arabia for its alleged role in the terrorist attacks — a stinging rebuke to White House efforts to bury the legislation. Huffingtonpost

  1. So that is why he wanted ministers to remain in office so that they continue misusing GRZ money, what is siliya and kalaba doing, Surely EL has no clue to what he is doing, with the same mouth he says we are cost saving and yet his actions are totally different, what is the importance of this trip when elections are around the corner. Why is it that presidents are always involved in oil deals, why not learn from RB because when EL leaves office UPND will revisit his case.

    • IT WASN’T HIS WANT. IT IS THE CONSTITUTION THAT YOU RECOMMENDED THAT WANTED MINISTER TO REMAIN IN OFFICES. ECL, WAS JUST HELPING YOU TO TRANSLATE THAT PART OF THE CONSTITUTION.

  2. THAT’S ONE OF THE MOST PROFITABLE TRIPS. THE OTHER TRIPS WERE THE EUROPE ONE INCLUDING THE INTERNAL ONES WHERE HE GOES TO LAUNCH, COMMISSION AND MONITOR INFRASTRUCTURE PROJECTS THAT ARE BEING UNDERTAKEN AND FINISHING. CHEAPER OIL FOR ZAMBIA WILL HAVE POSITIVE EFFECTS ON THE GROWTH OF THE ECONOMY AND COST OF LIVING. ECL IS A VERY HARD-WORKING MAN JUST AS HIS VICE PRESIDENT. WISHING YOU GOD SPEED, SIR.

  3. cheaper oil will mean cheaper transport costs resulting into low cost of goods and services. This is what the prophet from Nigeria said. I hope UPND will not benefit from this oil deal.

    • It’s good you know for sure that UPND is coming. That oil deal will be cancelled bexause it smells corruption. Fuel price can never come down under PF because this is a highly indebted government. The global oil price is already low but to debt PF is get subsidised by selling oil more expensive.

  6. Talking of the parking fees for the Challenger plus per diem for the entire entourage plus the advance party of Dora, Kalaba, etc, etc, etc. These guys indeed have no empathy or its the Zambian people who should be blamed for electing a self-confessed visionless President. How do you incur such expenditures when your own people are struggling & the country is on its knees?? Baffling aah. But knowing Zambians’ short memories, I am sure PF is bouncing back come August 11th 2016.

  7. No so called president should be allowed to go and make deals during election time. What deals is he making anyway? He is just going to get more money for his campaigns in exchange for more terrorists in Zambia. Is that not the home of Osama who has birthed ISIL? This guy is fake. In the morning he calls himself a Christian and gets praise from fake Bishops in Lusaka, at night he mixes with Sangomas and in the evening he is doing deals with terrorist sponsors. Kalaba and Siliya are there to get their own personal deal cut. There’s no value for this trip to Zambia. It is all for Lungu’s pocket and his cadres like Kalaba and Siliya.

  8. Yes we need cheap oil,but cheap is not always cheap! Saudi Arabia has been getting huge portions of land in poor countries in Africa to produce cheap food for its growing population. Do not forget that before Rupiah Banda left office there was a deal to give huge tracts of land to a Saudi family to produce fruits especially pineapples. While there is nothing wrong with that,it may could have come with its price- conditions that could have even led to spread of mosques and islamic fundamentalism and its principals. I have read in the Daily Mail that Zambia can benefit from Saudi’s fruit and vegetable market especially through Mangoes,Avocadoes and Pineapple exports. Yes we can but we need to develop and implement plans that will allow our people to be the real beneficiaries!! Not a…
