“Paymaster” Mwaba urges patience at ailing Power Dynamos

Share

Kellies “Paymaster” Mwaba has told his old club Power Dynamos to be patient with interim coach Anderson Phiri.

The legendary ex-Power goal-king said Phiri should be given ample time to prove his mantle.

Power made Phiri interim coach after the dismissal of his former boss Tenant Chilumba on May 5.

Phiri has recorded two wins, two draws and one defeat as interim Power coach.

“Coach Anderson Phiri and Alex Namazaba (assistant) should not be put under unnecessary pressure. So far they have done well and must be supported,” Mwaba said.

“If you see Power are not doing bad so these coaches should not be changed,” he said.

Mwaba believes Arthur Davies club was still in contention to win the 2016 FAZ Super Division title.

Sixth placed Power have 18 points from 12 games played ad are eight points behind leaders and archrivals Nkana.

“Power’s performance is okay. They can even win the league,” Mwaba said.

  2. Today, the UPND is dominated by elements that were running government business in the successive MMD and PF governments. There are people in the leadership of the UPND today who had appropriated the business of entire ministries to themselves and their associates. Given this situation, it is understandable why the UPND can hardly talk about corruption or include the fight against it in their election manifesto. – See more at: http://postzambia.com/news.php?id=18170#sthash.073G8CNy.dpuf
