UPND leader Hakainde Hichilema and his running mate Geoffrey Mwamba on Sunday evening met some UPND members who were not adopted to stand on the party’s ticket in the August elections.
Mr Hichilema called on the members to remain united saying the UPND is one family.
“As we move beyond nominations I would like to extend my gratitude to all the candidates who applied for positions within the UPND family. I know that you all have something valuable to contribute in the coming weeks to our campaign, and beyond that when we are in Government,” Mr Hichilema said.
“For this reason, I appeal to you to remain united and to continue with us on our journey towards economic liberation. We are one family and there is room for all of us,’ he said.
“We do not discriminate because we know we are stronger together and that if we want to deliver real change and progress then we must pull in the same direction.”
“Let us differentiate ourselves from the PF in our actions and commitment by showing that we approach Government as a service to the people and not as a means of personal gain. This requires sacrifice and putting self-interest to one side for the good of our country.”

This is Leadership. HH and GBM are truly what Zambia needs. I do not blame PF for their failures. They are just dull and there is nothing one can do for them but just pity them. I do not believe anyone who aligns themselves with such violent thugs as the PF can be a normal person. How can you live with yourself being led by someone like Kambwili shure. Shame Zambia!!!
GBM pulled an impressive crowd by himself in Ndola yesterday. PF and Emanuel Mwamba should be very concerned. The end is near!

The fact is he did his part well and formed UPND. The best honor HH has given Mazoka is to sustain UPND 10 years after his death- that in itself shows leadership, stamina, consistency, organization and ingenuity. if it were some unprincipled leaders we see around, UPND would have been in oblivion by now….

I totally agree with you. Not this commic HH. When andy tried to unseat MMD. Indeed there was a wind of change. We were just experiencing the effects of privatisation and the effects of the conditionalities of the IMF. But MMD still pulled through. I do agree that the elections were rigged but with substantial evidence and in the absense of a court rulling – i am affraid that will forever be hearse. But given the circumstnces we are now in dont see any wind of change. Actually ECL has even gain more popularity goind by the ill timed defections of comic people like Guy scott who thinks leadership is sexually transmitable. My foot. Vot ECL.

GBM TAKES OVER UPND
Opposition UPND Vice President Geoffrey Bwalya Mwamba, popularly known as GBM has called for an emergency national convention to replace losing presidential candidate and now UPND cadre, Hakainde Hichilema (HH).
The UPND presidency is being contested by former MMD failed politicians including: Brian Chituwo, Nevers Sekwila Mumba, Sylvia Masebo, Katele Kalumba, Vernon Mwaanga, Gabriel Namulambe, Miles Sata, Mulenga Sampa, GBM, Guy Scott, Obvious Mwaliteta, William Tekere Banda, Edward Mumbi, Bob Sichinga, Lupando Mwape, George Mpombo and Situmbeko Musokotwane.

Former UPND President Hakainde Hichilema, popularly known as Hap Hazard Kaponya (HH) has died 4 days after losing the 2016 Presidential and general elections.
He is survived by a wife and 5 children from two named political prostitutes.
Mr Kudos – that is not good. Do not wish the man ill. He is just competing in an election as his democratic right.
This HH-GBM love affair will end in tears……just from HH’S body language even facial expressions you can tell he was bamboozled…hoodwinked

I was just suprise to see empty flats and houses in Kitwe’mindolo.I asked where are the owners of these houses ? umbi anchikulako ati They have deserted there homes due to Job less ness and current biting economy . They used to be Miners working for Mopani and after some time they were told that they will be recalled soon they decided to stick around but they were not recalled that’s when they left there houses to dwell in small houses so that they can put there houses on rent to get some income. Ala bwafya ku kopala. Sure chino chaka katwishi?
