President Edgar Lungu says the Patriotic Front has delivered the various projects it promised the Zambian people in 2011.

Speaking when in Lusaka today when he commissioned the ZAF Hospital Out-Patient Department and Lusaka Base new Hangar, President Lungu says the Zambian people have taken stock of the PF’s achievements.

He says the ruling party is humbled to see that the Zambian people are able to see and point at the various projects the party had promised to deliver.

He points out that so far thirty nine district hospitals have been constructed of which five are already operational, adding that a total 266 health posts have equally been constructed of which 170 have so far been operationalised and are already serving communities.

President Lungu states that any nation that aspires to foster development and improve the lives of its citizens does so, on the basis of good roads, hospitals, schools, bridges airports and many others.

He says this why the PF Government is investing massively in infrastructure development.

President Lungu notes that infrastructure will not only transform the general outlook of the nation, but will also significantly contribute to the country’s socio economic outlook.

He expressed delight that the Zambia Air Force is moving in line with government’s national development agenda.

Meanwhile, ZAF Commander Lieutenant General Eric Chimese commended government for modernising the Zambia Air Force.

General Chimese said the facility will have a bed capacity of 220.

The first phase of the ZAF hospital cost 12.5 million kwacha.

  1. Neat! Once I get my degree, Im coming back to Zambia and contribute to the Health sector. Viva mukwasu, PF nafuti

    • Dream on mwaiche. Contribute to your family. We went there to Zambia, we came back. You can only make it if you are PF.

    • IF YOU DON’T DREAM YOU ARE BETTER OFF DEAD. IT IS OUT OF OUR DREAMS THAT WE REALISE OUR FUTURES. MOST OF THE THINGS I HAVE ACHIEVED INCLUDING EDUCATION WERE FIRST MY DREAMS. NOW MY DREAMS ARE TO CONTRIBUTE TO THE DEVELOPMENT OF ZAMBIA AND I AM ALMOST MAKING IT.

    • What is the point of building a hospital for the Airforce, when we have Maina Soko Military hospital????
Maina Soko SHOULD BE CATERING FOR ALL ARMS OF THE DEFENCE FORCE, Instead of USING THESE WASTED FUNDS TO IMPROVE MAINA SOKO – he simply WANTS TO DIVIDE THE DEFENCE FORCES – this useless visionless traitor masquerading as Commander-in-Chief(More like Commander-in-THIEF)together with his puppy “Chisense!!” NEEDS TO GO ON 11/8/2016!!

Vote WISELY 11/8/2016!! Vote ZAMBIA FORWARD!! VOTE FOR A UNITED & PROSPEROUS ZAMBIA UNDER UPND!! Abantu baya!!

      #Chagwamustfall!! #PamaFikuyabebele!!

      I thank you!!

  2. Even a chinama patient can build what your are mentioning after borrowing $10 billion…..

However that chinama patient won’t be able to run inflation to 22% in 1 year nor would they be able to run down other sectors like touarisim like you have….

  3. Continue with your dreaming, Do you what development is you PF cadres? shame on you the masses are wallowing in poverty created by your vision less leader then you yap the their is development .

  4. question is accessibility and availability of medicines and other resources needed in a hospital. do not be fooled, a hospital is only as good as the services provided make a difference in patient outcomes. lungu can put his name on every building he wants, unfortunately for him he is on his way out

  5. Guys,
As a Sri Lankan who worked in the mines in the 1970’s, I’ve monitored Zambian news.
As I write from Alberta in Canada, I urge all Zambians to give President Lungu their vote on August 11. This time round, he will be more decisive, incisive and will kick butts! He has lots of “work in process” that he needs to see to completion. First Lady Esther is doing a marvelous job up and down the country. DO YOU GUYS WANT TO BREAK THAT MOMENTUM? Think twice! President ECL definitely deserves a second term. May be,buoyed with a PF victory my wife Indra and I will visit Zed in the coming year and taste that nshima, served with oxtail relish and rape, something we never had since leaving Zambia in 1985.

    • Yes you want him to kick butts just like your sri Lankan government kicked butts of Tamil people. Almost wiping them off sri Lanka. Get lost and stick with your hate against the Tamil.

  6. @3, Spaka like lilo, dont be like a broken record with that ignorant inflation theory of yours in every comment. All economists know that Zambia’s 22% inflation arises from low copper prices and revenue, everyone knows about the collapse of world commodity prices including copper and oil. All Zambian miners know why they were retrenched. Didnt you follow the proceedings of the AfDB meetings right here in Zambia? It is such ignorance in the midst of abundant knowledge in this modern era of information that HAS cost the UPND victory on 8/11, please dont blame rigging.

    • @ Terrible 1mbecile
“…All economists know that Zambia’s 22% inflation arises from low copper prices and revenue…”

Which economist you ECL arse licking empty bone head? You may be following AfDB meetings, but you did NOT understand f*ck!!!

9.75 Billion USD borrowing by your fellow crooked 1mbeciles has caused inflation of more than 300% over September 2011 price levels!!!

  7. And somebody is still blind to the work this government is doing? Well, he has no mental capacity too comprehend or point at the success story like General Stephen Kabanda is pointing! Let the HH group point at something too!

  8. @Sundaran, thank you for your comment! It is sad that we have produced some intolerant guys in the last five years who want to destroy the peace that Zambia has been known for, for the decades! You are welcome back to Zambia the oasis of peace in Africa! No place like Zambia! Good job Mr. President! You guys are turning Zambia into a developed country daily! I am happy with your vision to take Zambia into a producing nation and you are laying that foundation! Zambians, please never gamble with guys who wants to sell the nation!
