President Edgar Lungu says the Patriotic Front (PF) has demonstrated good leadership and delivered tangible development across the country.
President Lungu says the PF is the only party that will develop Zambia.
The President says among all the contesting parties the PF has the best manifesto which spells out development plans for continued Socio-economic growth.
President Lungu says he and the ruling party envision Zambia as a nation that will develop in all sectors of the economy.
The President says Zambians should therefore vote for him and the PF for continued economic growth.
President Lungu says the PF’s economic development achievements are wide ranging from roads, improved agriculture, health and education infrastructure.
The President was speaking at a rally in Malambo Constituency in Mambwe district yesterday.
And PF Deputy Secretary General, Mumbi Phiri has urged voters in Malambo to turn up in large numbers and vote for President Lungu and all PF candidates.
Mrs. Phiri is hopeful that the people of Eastern Province will give more votes to the President and the party.
Meanwhile, President Lungu’s campaign manager, Samuel Mukupa said people of Eastern province should show a difference by giving the President and PF a resounding victory.
Mr. Mukupa said Easterners must emulate other provinces that went flat out to campaign and vote for President Lungu in the 2015 Presidential election.
And Malambo Constituency PF candidate, Makebi Zulu implored voters in the constituency to vote for him to expedite development in the area.
Mr. Zulu who is also a renowned lawyer promised voters in Malambo that he will deliver on his promises once voted into power.
Others that spoke during the rally include Chipangali PF parliamentary candidate, Vincent Mwale, Mfuwe PF Candidate, Mwimba Malama and Finance Deputy Minister, Christopher Mvunga.
President Lungu who is accompanied by First Lady, Esther is in Eastern Province for campaigns and to check on various developmental projects.
The President is also expected to hold rallies in Chipata, Chama, Lundazi, Vubwi, Katete Districts.
