Mr Hichilema who spoke at a media briefing held at his house around 22:40hrs Sunday, said the G12 sheet is the only proscribed document which is the legal requirement used for recording ” the will of the people.”
He said nothing can replace the G12 document which is supposed to be used to authenticate the results and that the document was deliberately left out in Lusaka so that the ECZ in collusion with the ruling PF can wait for results from other provinces and use the Lusaka vote to compensate for any deficits.
He wondered how G12 can not be available in Lusaka where the ECZ is located adding that some polling stations are a stone’s throw from ECZ offices.
He explained that the omission was a deliberate move made to secure votes for the PF saying events in some polling stations point to that fact.
He further claimed that PF cadres took over polling stations shortly after the close of polling further adding that some cadres were voting more than twice while others went to vote with premarked ballots in their pockets.
He also accused the ECZ of trying to promote instability in the country by colluding with the PF to take away the decision of Zambians.
Mr Hichilema has since vowed not accept the results describing the process and results as a coup on democracy by those who control the army.
He said he will fight for Zambians and called on well meaning Zambians to fight with him.
And President Edgar Lungu of the Patriotic Front has maintained the lead in Presidential Election Results from 132 constituencies out of the 156 constituencies country wide.
Electoral Commission of Zambia -ECZ- Chairperson Justice Esau Chulu has so far announced that Mr. Lungu has 1,454,165.
His closest rival Hakainde Hichilema of United Party for National Development now has 1,383,594
The margin stands at 70,571 votes
ECZ is yet to announce results from 24 constituencies and the next update is scheduled at 06:30 hours this morning.
Set a date for re-run. No one reached 50% of votes, despite HH & Edgar both doubled votes they got last year.
Unfortunately votes counted are more than registered voters. ECZ answer to 5 -7 : It can’t.
It will take them 4 days to count that. So the earlier the rerun, the better so we have final results before 24th October.

Ok he talks about free education? How is he going to achieve this if I may ask? If we stop paying school fees who will pay the teachers and lecturers. As things stand most foreign investors are not meeting their full tax burden. This translates into a deficit in government revenue. This deficit has to be catered for somehow. then he talks about subsidies, this too will create another deficit in revenue. so then where will he get money to cover this deficit/ simple borrow! and more borrowing. as a country we spend more than we make. why? we don’t manufacture! we have no value adding…

If votes are counted and captured in the presence of each party’s agent and aspiring candidate before transmitting the figures to your Central Place for consolidation and authauntication . One would assume that agents and candidates would have the election figures on their phones or note books as reference in case of dispute.
What is going on between ECZ AND your political parties?

It is unacceptable not to provide to provide results other than those on G12 especially in Lusaka. And why did PF cadres take over the polling stations? The answer to resolve this dispute is for all votes in Lusaka to be counted again with the list of all who voted verified. All excess votes should be rejected. An election rerun in Lusaka or where there’s a dispute should be done with no cadres allowed t the results

What is unfolding now is Edgar’s true colours. I sat with Edgar in class, like my other LLB 1977/81 classmates, I know him. He did not win the PF elections at Kabwe against Sampa, he used violence to get through and got that stupid lady Judge Mungemi Zulu to ‘endorse it at the High Court. With the of mobile phone communication, it’s almost impossible to rig a n electionin in Zambia once a vote has been cast.
An election manager or a returning officer at a polling station counts and collates the results in the presence of everyone, agents, observers, winners and losers etc. The results are faxed or emailed to a Central tallying center copied to each party’s local and national HQ. Any major discrepancy in the results ie polling station, local party Hq NATIONAL Hq , candidate and the tallying center can be easily and quickly reconciled.
The greatest regret for Zambia is exhibited by the comments that you see on this platform. You get to see the full spectrum of open tribalism and this partisan bias that one fails to even appreciate concern arguments that one makes. Let look at a few things for example, before the consititution was amended to reflect the 50 + 1, no candidate had ever go close to 50 percent, dont you think it is suspcious that suddenly the scales have been tipped in such a way that the elections are now a two horse race. Zambia does not need a Tonga for president neither does she need any other tribe as a president. What Zambia needs is a Zambian president who will convince the people of Zambia that he or she has policies that will enhance the economic prospects for all Zambians in this great nation. The voting patterns exhibited by our brothers and sisters in the Southern province shows something more than tribal voting and devoid of any democratic principle. HH has won with a sizeable number of votes from other provinces, but any other president in Zambia will not get anything worth talking about. The Lungu-Mambwe tribes who where early settlers in Zambia (16-17 century) together with their Tonga compatriots have embraced every Zambian president voted in Zambia and have also supported HH in some wards e.g. (Kaizya in Mpulungu) but you cannot say the same with those in Southern province. Mwanawasa a bantu Botatwe was supported in the northern province on principle. You cannot talk of principle with our colleagues in the southern province, democracy does not exist there.

I want to be very honest with all you people. I’m not a fan of HH but I feel strongly for him as a fellow human being. Losing 5 times!!I remember how terrible we used to feel each time the late Sata lost an election. Then you would ask yourself, what about the candidate himself how is he feeling? Here it’s not HH who is a problem. The problem is the voting pattern. Even if another Tonga person takes over UPND,the voting pattern won’t change anytime soon. I do remember Nawakwi warning the UPND during those succession disputes after Mazoka’s death that tribalism is an enemy to UPND.They should always remember that they are just 3 of them,Southern,Western and North-Western Provinces against 7 other provinces. So they will always be fighting losing battles.
And we remember how Eastern province voted in 1991. The rest of Zambia voted FTJ including the Tongas of Southern province because we all felt that there was hope in FTJ. But baku Eastern supported their in-law. Lol. To be honest I feel HH is better leader than ECL. But we had leaders championing tribalism like Kambwili who was preaching CNN. If Edgar has won has a lot of work to unite this deeply divided country. A christian nation promoting hate speech and tribalism. When you were leading in the votes (because the Southern & N Western votes), you were happy and there was no vote rigging. As soon as other constituencies get counted and Lungu takes the lead, you immediately start going on about voter rigging.
