Riots against re-election of President Edgar Lungu that hit most parts of Southern Province last evening spread to Mongu in the western province.
An eye witness confirmed that most parts of Mongu town were affected and that riot police had to fire teargas canisters.
He said youths were running battles with the police as youths chanted slogans of forward forward and we want change.
And Mazhandu Family Buses Limited has announced the temporal suspension of bus services to the Southern Provinces after riots broke out.
“We wish to notify our esteemed passengers that the buses to and from southern province have been temporarily cancelled due to riotous behaviour currently being experienced in some towns along this route. However, we expect to resume as soon as the situation normalises. Advance tickets that were purchased for this route remain valid, we regret any inconvenience this may cause,” a statement read.

ECZ have shut their website after announcing wrong figures that declared Lungu a president (?).
Please help me with this ECL scored this 1,860,877 and HH scored 1,760,347 total number of votes cast 3,781,505
in percentage terms ECL 49.21% and HH 46.55% what’s meaning of 50% plus 1 was not attained. These raises serious constitutional and mathematical errors

My big concern is these people will not accept even the ruling of the Constitutional Court if it goes against them. They may not even have a solid legal case but would wish to push bounds and when they lose at Court they will claim the judiciary has been compromised and bought by PF!!
