Victor Moses pulls out of Zambia tie

Nigeria striker Victor Moses has pulled out of the Nigeria squad for their upcoming World Cup 2018 qualifiers against Zambia with a hamstring injury.

Moses picked up the injury during his team Chelsea’s 2-0 win over Hull City.

Moses who got the Man of the Match award in his first start for Chelsea in three years played in a new role as a wing back assigned to him by Manaager Antonio Conte.

His withdrawal from Sunday’s Ndola clash brings to two the number of high profile Super Eagles players who have pulled out of the tie dependable defender Leon Balogun who is also on the sidelines.

Zambia host the Super Eagles in Ndola on Sunday as the race for a 2018 Fifa World Cup ticket begins.

  1. Nigeria seem to be playing a mind game against Zambia. Wada Wada please concentrate on forming a good team for Zambia and don’t listen to what is happening in their camp beacause they just destruct you.

  2. WEDSON pliz just play the game towin by attacking thru out.Dont play names in this fight to the 2018 world cup.Zambia can do wonders in the group if the players are talked to well.

  3. I and my family shall support Niga thru out.I don’t think we have a squad with a mindset to pull a win against any of these teams.Best result for us came Sunday is a draw
