George Lwandamina returned to the Zesco United bench on Wednesday only to see his soon-to-be ex-charges lose their second game of the season.
Lwandamina was back on the beat just 24 hours after returning from Tanzania where he agreed personal terms with Young Africans of Dar es Salaam.
A 35th minute goal from ex-Nkana midfielder Mwila Kabwe dispatched Zesco to their second league defeat since a 1-0 away loss at Forest Rangers by the same margin on May 11.
Nkwazi stay put in 10th place but rise to 38 points from 30 matches played.
Zesco remain at number five on 50 points after 24 games played with six matches in hand as they continue to play catch-up with leaders Zanaco who have 65 points from 28 matches.
And Zesco’s defeat comes in the wake of their 0-0 away draw at Zanaco on Saturday following a bright start on October 18 with a 4-1 away win over Red Arrows 4-1 at Nkoloma Stadium.
Zesco now wrap-up their four-match backlog away tour of Lusaka this Saturday with a date against Green Buffaloes at Independence Stadium.
Fire Lwandamina, now I believe that committed coaches add success to team. I always thought it was players
