Promoted FAZ Super Division side Real Nakonde are relishing their pending debut appearance in the top flight league.
Nakonde have secured promotion alongside City of Lusaka, Konkola Blades and AM Welding of Choma.
Nakonde coach Noel Phiri said the club was looking forward to rubbing shoulders with old-guards in the big league.
“I am happy that the team has been promoted to the Super League. It’s been a good year for Real Nakonde. The boys put in everything and I really appreciate them,” Phiri said.
He said Nakonde will be ready for the season and should not be underrated.
“I am definitely looking forward to a good season,” Phiri said.
“It would be good to play with bigg teams like Zesco United, Power Dynamos, Nkana and Zanaco,” he remarked.
This will be the first team from Muchinga Province to compete in the Super Division.

The up grade is ok but find a better name for the club. Real Nakonde aah like coping from Madrid. Why not names like Nakonde Liners or Chachine Nakonde/?

Real Nakonde prepare well for the supper league. If it means beefing up your ranks just do that. You can even go across Tanzania if you like. Nowadays there are no ristrictions when it comes to selecting players. We don’t want to see a situation where you will be wiping boys like Mufulira Black pool. Motivate your players well though I don’t know who your real sponsors are. Mind you learn to nature and keep your talents. Otherwise there are many supper league teams who may poach your players just because they have good offers. Also improve your home ground facilities. Have the best playing surface in the Land and your stadium should not be open to get crushing. All the People in Muchinga and Northern Province support this team.
