Kasonde beats Patson to 2016 Power best player award

Power Dynamos defender Francis Kasonde on Thursday night emerged as the club’s Player of the Year for 2016 during the awards gala at Keg in Kitwe.

Kasonde also scooped the award for the Most Consistent Player at Arthur Davies.

However, the biggest winner on the night was striker Patson Daka who won three awards.

Daka was named Most Improved Player, Top Scorer and Players Player of the Year.

The Zambia Under-20 Star scored 13 league goals for Power this term.

The award for the Most
Disciplined Player went to winger Kennedy Mudenda with defender Lawrence Chungu winning the Fans Player of the Year Award.

Veteran midfielder Emmanuel Chimpinde won the Special Recognition award.

Awards gala was graced by FAZ President Andrew Kamanga and CEC Chairman Hanson Sindowe.
