Ex-Zambia Under-20 deputy trainer Emmanuel Siwale has been appointed as Zesco United second assistant coach.

Club media officer Katebe Chengo confirmed on Tuesday that Siwale has replaced Alfred Lupiya who has been transfered to Livingstone side Zesco Vic Falls as head coach.

Siwale, who has previously coached Kitwe United and Chambishi, was until his appointment coach of Zesco Vic Falls.

He was part of the George Lwandamina led under-20 bench that qualified Zambia to the 2007 FIFA World Youth Championship in Canada.

Ex-Zambia and Nkana keeper Emmanuel Mschili has bounced back at Zesco as goalkeeper trainer.

The former Zesco keeper replaces Stephen Mwansa whose contract was not renewed.

“Following the appointment of Zlatko Krmpotic as Head Coach, the club has restructured the technical bench,” Chengo stated.

“Tenant Chembo maintains his position as first assistant coach while Alfred Lupiya has been deployed to head Zesco Vic falls in Livingstone while goalkeeper trainer Stephen Mwansa’s contract has not been renewed,” she said.

“Former Vic Falls head coach Emmanuel Siwale takes over from Lupiya while former Zesco United player Emmanuel Mschili will take over the role of goalkeeper trainer,” Chengo added.
