Power relieved after beating Napsa

Power Dynamos coach Dan Kabwe has acknowledged his side needed experience to edge determined Napsa Stars 1-0 in Sunday’s FAZ Super League match at Arthur Davies Stadium.

Experienced striker Jimmy Ndhlovu came off the bench to score an 85th minute goal as Power recorded their first win of the season.

Kabwe described the Week Two match against Napsa as tough.

“The game was tough. We used our experience and that is what counted,” he said.

He also hailed Ndhlovu for scoring the lone goal.

“We know what Jimmy can do on his day,” Kabwe said.

Napsa coach Tenant Chilumba said his team played well despite losing.

Chilumba said he was building a youth side that will compete favourable in the league.

“We lost concentration in the last ten minutes and we were punished. But I am happy with the overall performance. We put up a good game,” Chilumba said.

“It is a youthful team and we need to continue encouraging them,” Chilumba said

Napsa have a win and a loss from the first two league matches.
