The burning of public property has continued with Katondo Court building in Kabwe becoming the latest building to go up in flames.
The cause of the fire has not been established but it is suspected that the fore started on Monday night and spread into the early morning of Tuesday.
Kabwe Mayor Prince Chileshe confirmed the incident the entire building housing the court has been burnt.
“I Arrived on the scene at 02:30hrs. The Zambia Police are investigating the cause of the fire but the guard on duty says he just heard a loud noise like a gunshot or fire work. The next thing the documents caught fire, the ceiling board and the whole building was on fire,” Mr Chileshe said.
On Sunday, Chalimbana University in Chongwe and over 100 shops were burnt in similar circumstances.
No arrests have been made so far and the cause of all the fire outbreaks remain unknown.

Lungu I have said it before. The truth is what you need to confront and come to terms with. Using violence and deceiptive means to make yourself legimate will only make the country suffer. You clearly manipulated the system and were caught doing it. Even cheating you fail. What kind failure are these thugs? HH has done nothing wrong and the chiefs from the five provinces are right you are to be held personally responsible for harming an innocent man.
