Juvenile detained for allegedly defiling a minor in Isoka district

A 16 year old juvenile of  of chief Kafwimbi in isoka  district in Northern Province has been detained after he allegedly defiled a 3 year old minor.

Muchinga  Province  commissioner  Godwin  Phiri has confirmed the development to ZANIS in Isoka.

Mr Phiri told Zanis  that the minor sustained bad wounds on her private  parts after the ordeal.

He explained that the baby  was  allegedly defiled at the assailant’s residence  about 17 hours ,  three days ago.

Mr Phiri has further revealed that the suspect has since been arrested and detained at  Isoka police station awaiting to appear in court soon.

The commissioner  has however warned people who are fond of defiling infants to desist  from the practice as they risk being arrested.

Meanwhile police has launched  a manhunt for two people of  nyengo village in chief kafwimbi  for the offense of attempted murder.

He narrated that Lushawi  Simukoko and Lusala Simukoko of the same  village , allegedly attempted to kill Mr. Ian Sinkala  aged 80’years on suspicion that he was  practicing witchcraft.

The commissioner said a home made gun was used to shoot  mr Sinkala   who sustained chest wounds.

Mr Phiri  said the the victim is admitted in  Isoka hospital .

  1. Again the social services system under illegal pf has failed us. There is an inborn problem somewhere that needs to be looked into. However the illegal government is more concerned with how to force people to recognise lungu. We hope such an evil ordeal happens to tasila kid in future
