2017 Div 1 Wrap: Indeni halts in-form Kansanshi

Kansanshi Dynamos’ four-match unbeaten run in FAZ Division 1 Zone 2 is over following Sunday’s 2-0 thumping at Indeni in Ndola.

The loss in this week 5 match at Indeni Sports Complex saw Kansanshi drop from first to third position on the table.

Indeni’s Djunese Kanda and Tick Chiluba scored the goals that downed Kansanshi.

Coach Israel Mwanza’s side remain stuck on 10 points after five matches played.

FQMO Roads have taken over the leadership from vanquished Kansanshi after forcing a 1-1 draw at ZNS Lwamfumu in Mansa.

Roads have opened up a one point lead with 11 points from five matches played.

Kalulushi Modern Stars sneaked into second position after thumping Gomes Wanderers 2-0 in Ndola.
