Can Zesco halt poor form?

Zesco United will be seeking to end a two-match win-less streak when they host Green Buffaloes on Wednesday at Levy Mwanawasa Stadium in Ndola.

This Week 6 match of the FAZ Super Division has been brought forward owing to Zesco’s CAF Confederation Cup commitment at the weekend.

Zesco have picked a point from their last two matches in which they recorded a loss at Napsa Stars in Lusaka and a 2-2 draw at Nkana.

On the other hand, Buffaloes are in Ndola just three days after beating Nkana 3-2 in Lusaka to end a four-match win-less run.

Zesco coach Zlatko Krmpotic say the match against Buffaloes is important.

“We have another important game against Green Buffaloes on Wednesday. The game against Buffaloes is very important,” Krmpotic said.

Third placed Zesco who have 10 points from five matches will go top of the table if they defeat the Soldiers.

Buffaloes are placed eighth on the table with seven points from five matches played.
