FAZ president Andrew Kamanga has been elected to serve on the FIFA Audit and Compliance Committee.

Kamanga replaces ex-CAF vice president and former Cosafa boss Suketu Patel on the FIFA panel.

“I have been elected by the FIFA Congress in Manama, Bahrain as the 7th member of the FIFA Audit and Compliance Committee for four years after passing FIFA’s integrity checks,” Kamanga said.

“Thanks to CAF president Ahmad for nominating me to represent Africa and FIFA.

“I would like to also thank FIFA president Gianni Infantino for the confidence in my abilities.”

This is Kamanga’s first senior FIFA posting since his election as FAZ president in 2016.

  1. FIFA and corruption can never be divorced. Since when did this guy know anything about Audit let alone Compliance in football at that level?

All he does is cry about Kalusha Bwalya’s popularity.

  2. Congratulations Mr. Kamanga! It just reinforces your resolve for transparency and accountability of the steps you are taking on FAZ.

  3. Congrats Mr Kamanga. Keep up the good work and please do something with our senior Chipolopolo Team; as at now even Swaziland is ahead of us in FIFA rankings.

  4. Congrats Andrew. This goes to show that you are your own man. Forgive the “Kalu worshippers.” It hasnt set in their minds yet that you are FAZ President and better one than your predecessor. Keep up the great work the nation is behind you.

  5. Andy congratulations, I have no doubt you will excel, you sober minds will serve you well FIFA. Also take advantage of the opportunity to develop grassroots soccer in zambia particularly Rural Areas, like Chiyuni and Mwami, there is alot of unorganized football in these rural areas but with alot of talent.

  6. Not surprised! He is a Professional. As far as I know Andrew has BAcc; MBA; FCMA;FZICA. Well qualified, experienced and competent. Congratulations Andrew. We have confidence you will represent Zambia and Africa well!

  7. Instead of celebrating two of your nationals, Kalusha and Kamanga being elected to international positions this week you are busy tearing yourselves apart. Zambians! Your nation will commit suicide. Divided you fall

  8. Good, now go get corrupt Kalu and find out the kaili ni nkongolefye saga. He said the money was meant for FAZ. Kawalala Kalu thought he was untouchable.

  9. WE PROTEST THIS APPOINTMENT IT MUST HAVE BEEN KALU ON THE PANEL NOT THIS CADRE WHO KNOWS NOTHING JUST SWIMMING IN THEWATERS OF GREAT KALU, HE WILL BE AN EMBARRASMENT TO ZAMBIA, WE REVOKE AND IF NOT PROTEST AND IMPEACH HIM
