Sports Kitwe United stay top of FAZ Div 1 Zone 2

Kitwe United stayed top of the FAZ Division 1 Zone 2 table after edging Mufulira Blackpool 2-1 at Garden Park Stadium in the council derby on Sunday.

The Buchi Boys leads the table on goal difference with 17 points after eight matches played.

Emmanuel Chabula and Holy Songwe scored for Kitwe with James Ngosa scoring Blackpool’s consolation goal in this Week 8 match.

FQM Roads are second also on 17 points after beating fourth placed Indeni 1-0 in the North Western Province.

In other games, Kansanshi Dynamos beat Roan United 1-0 with Kalulushi Modern Stars forcing a 3-3 draw at Chambeshi in the Kalulushi derby.

Ndola United lost 1-0 to ZNS Lwamfumu at Musa Kasonka Stadium in Ndola.
