FINANCE MINISTER FELIX MUTATI has directed the PENSIONS AND INSURANCE AUTHORITY to appoint an independent auditor to assess the financial and operational governance of SATURNA REGNA; a Pension Fund which operates in Zambia.
In a letter addressed to Pensions and Insurance Authority Registrar MARTIN LIBINGA, Mr. MUTATI said that the audit should be undertaken and completed within thirty days.
“I am directing you to appoint an independent auditor to assess the matter that has arisen in the SATURNA REGNA PENSION FUND,” stated the Minister, adding that, “the audit should be undertaken and completed within thirty days.”
And ILLOVO SUGAR Proprietary Managing Director GAVIN DALGLEISH has said his firm “believes in Zambia and will continue to expand the business here with the sole purpose of producing the best quality products in Africa.”
Speaking yesterday morning during an investment brainstorming meeting with Finance Minister FELIX MUTATI, Mr. DALGLEISH, who was backed by Zambia Sugar Managing Director REGINA KATOWA, said “the economic management consultative approach which the Zambian Government has adopted is a sign of government’s commitment to the prosperity of industry.”
At the same function, Mr. MUTATI said, “the private sector in Zambia must show tenacity by seizing the opportunities which the government is creating for all levels of industry in order to grow the economy.”
“This can be done by not only establishing market penetration strategies in order for you to grow and consolidate your competitiveness but also taking steps to share your positive experiences such as the stabilisation of the macro-economic environment which we have been working on under the economic stabilisation and growth programme,” stated the MINISTER to Mr. DALGLEISH and his team from ILLOVO SUGAR GROUP.
“We are in the process of creating a framework that monitors potential risks to investment,” stated Mr. MUTATI, adding that, “the system will have the capability to activate De-risking measures in order to guard economic stability, promote growth, and strengthen our international competitiveness.”
“I also take this opportunity to commend VAT collection agents such as Zambia Sugar for helping the government to make progress in improving the first quarter performance domestic resource mobilization. We look forward to greater performance in the second quarter,” said Mr. MUTATI.

Believe me Mutati, HH is a very experienced auditor,…..HH is the Guru of auditors, all records for SATURNA REGNA and all his companies are clean.
Please note that HH does not own Saturnia Regna. HH has shares in a company that manages Saturnia Regna.
Vendatta did exactly the same thing SATURNA is being investigated for investing Money off-shore without full approval of all shareholders / stakeholders. ZCCM-IH sued Vendatta for investing Monies offshore of which its a shareholder without declaring ……. but guess what ? The Presido requested that the case be withdrawn and the issue resolved “Amicably”….. beyond this let me not say much before I am called in for Tilizone.
