Zanaco stunned Cameroonian giants Cotonsport 1-0 on Wednesday to stand on the verge of reaching the quarterfinal stage of the 2017 CAF Champions League.

Saith Sakala’s stoppage time goal propelled Mumamba Numba’s side to victory away at Roumde Adjia Stadium.

The win sees Zanac make history as the first Zambian club to win a continental fixture away in Cameroon in over 42 years.

The Banker lead their Group D with 10 points after four matches played.

Egyptians Al Ahly are second on 7 points, one above third placed Wydad Casablanca who beat them 2-0 away in Morocco on Tuesday while Cotonsport are bottom on zero points and out of contention.
