Nkana hosts Mighty in old school showdwon

Nkana will be targeting to bounce back to winning ways when they host Mighty Mufulira Wanderers in Sunday’s FAZ Super Division battle of legendary clubs at Nkana Stadium in Wusakile.

Nkana face struggling Mighty with fresh memories of their 2-0 loss at Green Eagles in their last match.

Kalampa had posted three straight wins before Eagles scratched that record in Choma.

Fifth placed Nkana are pre-match favourites over Wanderers who are placed third from the foot of the table.

Wanderers have collected just 14 points from 17 matches while Nkana sits on 25 points after playing 17 matches as well.

Elsewhere on Sunday, champions Zanaco returns to league action with a home match against Buildcon in Lusaka.

This will be Zanaco’s first league match since being eliminated from the CAF Champions League at the group stage.

11th placed Bankers have six unplayed matches owing to their continental engagement.

In Chingola, Nchanga Rangers and Konkola Blades battle in the KCM derby at Nchanga Stadium.

Pride will be at stake as the two bottom half teams clash heads in this Week 18 tie seeking redemption.
