  1. Since when does Irish potato electrocute? The poor child must have come in contact with naked live electric wires behind that fridge. Ba Esther Katongo don’t you know your job?

  2. The potato is NOT from ISLAND please its from NRDC FARM, yes potato carries some electrons that allows current to flow through. One can even charge a phone by taking two potatoes and put a conductor in between juts like u put you ntweno on the ntwenoness MHSRP

  3. Very sad indeed; in Zambia safety is not taken seriously; in Ndola a young boy died after being struck by a car because of street vending; visionless politicians legalise street vending without thinking about issues of safety and health;

  4. How do you refer a 2year old little girl as a female “juvenile?”. You simply say a little girl aged 2 years. These little ones need to be watched at ALL times. It is a very sensitive age-group(under 5).My deepest condolences to the bereaved family

    • Gunjan, put an Irish potato behind your fridge and ask a two-year old girl to pick it up and see if she’ll be electrocuted.

      Someone was careless with electric wires that lead to the death of a poor child and you want us to be blaming Irish potatoes? We can do better than that.
