Huh ,so Zambian names like mkundu or kachasu aren’t good they had to adopt western names Jae Cash ,Juvic and t-sean ? Sad there’s no pride in our own.
WHAT ABOUT YOURSELF, WHY ARE YOU WRITING IN THE WESTERN LANGUAGE?
He has to communicate with you. You probably wont understand his vernacular. So in this case language is a practical tool to bring people together. However using a foreign language doesn’t mean we should drop all our practices and cultures and copy everything
Including our names. If you go to school you will learn the need for self identity
@Juliet Perth Writing in English doesn’t mean Iam not proud of myself. Its the need for communication with you that dictates this. However dumping my African identity or name means exactly that I’m not proud of what identifies me as an African
