The Zambian Envoy encouraged Zambian business entities in a press release issued to ZANIS by Zambia’s First Secretary for Press and Public Relations in France, Yande Musonda.

Mr. Chibanda stated that the Zambian mission in France working with the Zambian Tourism Agency (ZTA), will be exhibiting at this year’s Spain International Tourism Trade Fair.

Mr. Chibanda noted that Spanish tourists traveling to Zambia were minimal hence the need to invest more in marketing and promoting Zambia to the Spanish speaking tourists.

He further said that while at the Trade Fair, Zambia would hold a Zambia- Spanish Investment Forum on January 16th in Madrid.

Zambian government would be signing a memorandum of understanding with the Madrid Chambers of Commerce and the Zambia Association of Chambers of Commerce and Industry during the Forum

  1. Sustainable Tourism meets the needs of present tourists and receptive regions at the same time protects and promotes opportunities for the future. It is conceived as a way towards management of all resources, to be integrated through environmental, social, economic and aesthetics needs, at the same time, respecting cultural integrity, essential ecological processes, biological diversity and systems that maintain life. It supports sustainability, conservation and the development of resources, and the central role of tourism for the development of many localities to level with the world geography and particularly countries less developed with a various wealth of flora, fauna, landscapes and cultural elements. Unless people understand this, tourism will not work in Zambia.
