The Patriotic Front (PF) in Northern Province says it will not entertain corruption allegations being peddled by some opposition parties meant to hinder the PF government from delivering development in the country.

In a press statement made available to ZANIS in Kasama today, PF Provincial Chairperson Bwalya Chungu said the PF will not give credence to wild allegations by the opposition who want to gain political mileage.

Mr. Chunga explained that politics of hate and vengeance will not take the country anywhere, adding that the opposition must begin to acknowledge the achievements government is making in developing the country.

He added that citizens and political parties of goodwill are not there to criticize aimlessly but should offer advice when mistakes are made.

Mr. Chungu, who is also Lupososhi Member of Parliament appealed to all patriotic Zambians to ignore malicious statements emanating from some politicians aimed at misleading the general public.

He said the province has seen unprecedented infrastructure development ranging from schools, health facilities, roads and communication infrastructure which are meant to improve the livelihoods of the people.

Mr. Chungu has since thanked the people of Northern Province for their continued support towards the PF government.

  1. Bemba people are not united at all. Learn and emulate Tongas.

Tongas are united in their support of their son HH. Learn from them please. Vote not because of what has been done but because of the surname of the person. Amen

  2. Ubomba mwibala alya mwibala, what does that mean, how can people not speculate that there is corruption. The auditor general report showed malpractices but up to now no one has been displined. No one knows what happened to the Mukula logs impounded by PF cadres, who is exporting when there is a trading ban, the list is endless. Govt needs to be transparent in their dealings and have Zero tolerance to corruption. Statements like the above headline are counter productive to national prosperity

  3. What achievements has government made sir please enlighten us? Or maybe you are talking about 1 million dollar fire trucks your government purchased for the nation, or perhaps your are talking about the achievements in the fight against Cholera, a disease which we should not even be experiencing in this day and age I mean you don’t even seem ashamed that your Government allowed the capital city to get to that level of filth! Or perhaps the achievements of Your President in amassing great wealth in just a few years of being in office I mean his personal economy is really doing well, in your words he has made great “achievements”. We are sooo proud of your achievements sir

  4. But this useless party should not exist beyond 2021.I dont think one would be exagarating to say right now in Southern Africa this is the worst ruling party in a democracy, even ANC is better.ZANU PF is being rejuvenated. This useless party has no place in the modern world,no wonder the f.o.o.ls find nothing wrong in carrying pangas.
