She also pledged to work hand in hand with the church mother bodies and civil society organizations to ensure proper implementation of the plan.

Ms. Sumaili stated that the Ministry will also develop a number of policies, regulations and legislation for the implementation process.

And National Guidance and Religious Affairs Permanent Secretary Katongo Chifwepa said the plan which is from 2018-2021, is not for the ministry alone, but for the people of the Zambia as well.

She stated that the plan is important and as it will give direction, promote respect and social Justice among Zambians.

Meanwhile, the Civil Society for Poverty Reduction (CSPR) Director Patrick Shindano has commended the move by the ministry.

  1. JUst disband this ministry.

No purpose at all and Chanel the monies meant for it to rehabilitating and improving the UTH.

    Thanks

    BB2014,2016

    • Lungu needs to get rid of this useless ministry. Whats up with bleaching and Brazilian hair Godfridah. This woman is the worst hypocrite I have ever seen and she is just wasting taxpayers money.

    • I can imagine when it gets hot with that much Brazilian hair on her head and chemicals on her face…Lungu please get rid of this useless ministry

    • Religious Minister heavily embalmed…prostitutes wear heavy make up. Godfrida you need to repent and stop stealing taxpayers money

    • PF will continue winning these elections because you cant have a situation where Mulongoti is alone in the party, Nason Musoni is alone, Muliokela is alone, Tayali is alone, Siwale is a lone party as well, NDC only has Kambwili, Eric Chanda and Musenge, Chipimo is alone in Narep, FDD only has Mtayachalo and Nawakwi after Antonio Mwanza left, Wnter Kabimba also is a lone man party and even the new socialist party will only have Musumali and Mmembe. And i dont mean spokes persons or vocal people in these parties, i mean real membership. Wake up you fragmented chaps and form a formidable party or simply dissolve, evaporate or freeze and join UPND. There is nothing like ideologies in Africa, just wake up and do the needful. You are busy wasting our time crying foul each time you lose elections

    • No wonder she (with Minister of Culture) have time to go and see off Lazy Lungu at KKIA…useless minister of a pointless ministry. How much are we allocating to this ministry…this ministry should fall under culture scrap this ministry and this silly woman!!

    • Well said @Enka. Matter of fact, under the new crown prince (aka MBS) Saudi Arabia has started tearing down prejudicial and suppressive enforcements based on false interpretations of religion. It appears we are going backwards… is this a sign that our standards of comprehension and enlightenment are regressing too?

    • Great move, I remember in the 70’s during my secondary ply we used to have associations called Moral Rearmament, had they been sustained could have made a big impact on the fate of humanity in Africa today.

  2. She wants to change the people’s behaviors and attitudes. Does she know how difficulty it is to change oneself? Ask her what and how she has changed herself.

  3. For one I agree with Mushota; PF should just re introduce KK’s philosophy of Humanism; this human hair and ambi is annoying;

  4. You cannot run the country on Christian principles because to live the Christian life, one must be born again. Consequently, when you want to legislate morality to a non-born again people – it is just rules and regulations and they hate it.

  5. Hypocrites. Do the introspection and be brave enough to criticize politicians both in the ruling party and opposition especially the ruling part’s behaviour.

  6. You cannot lord over people’s attitudes and behaviors! Come ON!!! Are we heading towards a Communist pact or what!? @Mushota is right – and most of us have echoed the call for the disbanding of this moribund ministry.

  7. To begin with, I agree with Mushota. What do the people at the ministry do on a daily basis. this is a department, not a ministry.

You lost Zambia’s respect when you could not allow Zondwa Wa Bantu into Zambia. You deprived citizens of appreciating/seeing where in particular they come from.

  8. What significant transformation of people’s attitudes and behaviors through the promotion of national values and principles are these ladies talking about?!? They are all fake – from the fake hair, fake complexions and
fake nails. The only real thing here is the beard on my chinny chin chin!
Listen to Mushota for a change:-)!

  9. Disband this ministry. It’s not necessary, just another unnecessary expense. True Christians will live by the principles laid down already in a book called the Bible. Am pretty sure there are more than a number of strategic plans to transform peoples atttitudes in the world’s most powerful book written at least more than a 1000years ago. And I stand to corrected but has this ministry actually achieved or contributed to any progress to national development? Lets focus energies on more crucial matters such as uth as wisely spent above. My thoughts.

  10. Limbi corruption, intolerance tribalism, nepotism and lazyness those are the key thingz that need to be worked on by changing peoples attitudes.

  11. The Strategic Plan governing peoples behavior is simply the Holy Bible…how can Godfridah not understand that? You cannot set out long term objectives for people, they set out their own strategies which are private. Madam Minister, try something else. Also understand that a strategy is not law, so please don’t go around arresting people who don’t comply with that piece of paper. Ndamana..napwisha…kufelile…nasiliza

    • Yes even a Sunday school drop out understands that the Holy Bible is God’s strategic plan to govern all aspects of human behaviour, anyway she has time to waste.

  12. Jokers! Charity begins at home. When the ministry brings sanity into the ranks and work towards eradicating rampant corruption, plunder and misuse of public resources, violence and gangsterism – (all of which occur in Patriotic Front with the involvement of the one who occupies the highest office in the land), you can introduce the best programme on earth, you will be wasting your time. Godfridah and your ministry, you are just a wasteful appendage on the national fiscus. This a ministry that should never have come into being; continued waste of our tax!

  13. I can’t imagine that this is how low we think as a Country. But at least they know that the whole fake thing can only go as far as 2021.

  14. How do u announce the launch of the first strategic plan………..then go on and say you will make policies regulation for the implementation. Surely ypu would have those inthpugt out and in place prior to announcing a strategic plan.
Its like going to war then saying we will make the strategy as we go. Where do we gdt the money for all these launches at upmarket places

  15. Imwe ba Godfridah please!!
First change your wigs, as your GOD or whatever you believe in NEVER put that Mat /Wig on your head, so you are mocking “Your God” Godfridah!
Manje’ DO YOU GODFRIDAH AGREE WITH #42 Wheelbarrows, over inflating KK International Airport, Road contracts, Mukula? I will stop here as ma scandal yafulisha saana!!
How will you go about curing the “Un -Godly” man made vices Zambian’s have been crying for P.F to resolve

  16. If Godfridah Sumaili has found a strategy to transform people’s attitudes and behaviours, let her start with HH, Lungu, Kaizer and Kampyongo and people will join if they see genuine change in the attitudes and behaviours of these people. People may also want to know who exactly are these strategists from her ministry to who will transform people’s attitudes and behaviours.

  17. I see that the Minister has already transformed herself by painting herself from nails to the head

  18. Well done ba minister,as a Christian nation weed values to live by in order to trully demonstrate our Christianity.

  19. Despite this ministry being young, don’t undermine it’s significance and impact it has on religious affairs of this country.Go to other countries where Islam is the only religion allowed .You enter with your Bible you will be arrested.lets not demonize everything about this ministry and let’s be objective too.She might have her own flaws but let’s also think about the values and culture of Zambia. What kind of a Zambia do you want your children and great children inherit if morals and cultural beliefs are lost?

  20. For me, I think she is one of the most hard working ministers and we need this ministry for Spiritual guidance and also to help regulate religious activities; Many countries would want to do what Zambia has done but it is very difficult to do so, mainly because of their constitutions. In these end times that we are living in, we need to watch & also guard our hearts & minds (especially our youth & children) against a lot of social ills and therefore we need genuine and Spirit-filled people to help our leaders and above all give spiritual guidance and direction to our beloved nation Zambia, especially with regards to religious activities: I salute the minister & her team for preventing Gilbert Angel from entering Zambia, Bushiri, Zodwa, just to mention a few, that the devil is using to…

  21. Conti:
especially with regards to religious activities: I salute the minister & her team for preventing Gilbert Angel from entering Zambia, Bushiri, Zodwa, just to mention a few, that the devil is using to deceive & siphon money from innocent people, but in Zambia through her ministry our people have not been duped and have been saved from these Gospel merchants – in others places such as South Africa, Nigeria, Swaziland, etc. people have been fed with snakes, frogs, petrol, doom splashed in their faces, polluted with false doctrines, … Mama we love you, please keep up with the good work; we are always praying for you. God bless Zambia! Ezekiel 22:30, Psalm 33:12

  22. The minister is trying to put up systems for behavioral change in our society, but she is bombarded with untold insults.what is wrong with US ZAMBIANS. the SATANIC Powers are so deep in this NATION..

  23. I hope the first strategy will be to stop all Zambians from wearing wigs – including all those judges. There is no Zambian culture in all that.
