Zambia on Saturday launches its campaign for a place at the Niger 2019 CAF Under-20 Cup with a seemingly tricky encounter against Rwanda away in Kigali.
The Junior Chipolopolo Boys are the Cup holders after winning the trophy on home soil in 2017.
The African champions are in Kigali for the second round, first leg encounter against Rwanda after a being on by at the first round stage.
Zambia are parading Wigan Athletic’s Mwiya Malumo and Lifumpa Mwandwe of Shrewsbury Town.
The team had spent five days warming up in Malawi with two friendly matches being the hallmark of the outing.
The final leg will be played on May 18 in Lusaka with the winner advancing to the final qualifying stage in July to face Sudan or Burundi for a place at next year’s tournament in Niger.
