Zesco name team for Tunisia trip

George Lwandamina has named his 18-man travelling part to face Etoile du Sahel next week on match-day-two of the 2018 CAF Champions League.

The 2007 African champions from Tunisia will hosts Zesco in a Group D fixture in Sousse on May 16.

Lwandamina has kept faith in his entire starting XI he featured in the 1-1 home draw against Mbabane Swallows on May 5 at Levy Mwanawasa Stadium in Ndola.

But three changes have been made to the substitute bench.

Burundi international goalkeeper Diuedonne Ntibahezwa has been dropped and replaced by Lameck Nyangu.

Defender Bornwell Silengo and striker Logic Chingandu have also been dropped and replaced by midfielder’s Misheck Chaila and Enock Sabumukama who did not make the cut for the Swallows game.

And Utility midfielder Edward Tembo, who joined Zesco this season from demoted City of Lusaka, is set for his debut away match in the CAF Champions League.

Meanwhile, all four teams in Group D are tied on 1 point heading into the mid-week fixtures.

Etoile drew 1-1 away to Premiero de Agosto of Angola on May 5 in Luanda.

Zesco depart for Tunisia on Saturday evening ahead of Wednesday’s date in Sousse.
