Zanaco returned to winning ways on Wednesday afternoon after a one month draught following a 3-2 home win over promoted National Assembly at Sunset Stadium in Lusaka.
Wednesday’s victory saw the 2017 FAZ Super Division runners-up collect their first league win since April 11 when they beat Nchanga Rangers 1-0 away in Chingola.
Goals from Taonga Bwembya, Kennedy Musonda and Felix Nyaende in the 17th, 25th and 64th minutes respectively handed the seven-time champions the win.
Ex-Zambia midfielder William Njobvu scored in-between in the 55th minute and his teammate Tchite Mweshi cut that lead in the 87th minute.
Zanaco rise from 10th to 8th place on 17 points, seven behind leaders Green Buffaloes from ten and eleven games played respectively.
Assembly are 15th on 12 points and have now picked up just one point from their last four matches.
Apparently very few players if any at ZANACO has played all the games so far . This means there’s no cons
I propose that Swazis condemn the building ECLs house in their country using stolen money
