    • A story is supposed to expand on the headline. This headline promises something else which the story is afraid to tell

  1. These books must to southern province so that kids know the real president for all Zambia

Otherwise kids will fail social studies final exam

Give a copy to Spaka lilo

  2. The school kids all look very happy with this kind of thinking and certainly the parents too are equally very happy. This is as it should be!!!

  3. We will not develop as a country if politicians are the ones delivering motivation to children. where are the business men this country has to motivate these children on how to run businesses.

  4. This is absolute ru.bbish and shameful PF. And not PF branded, no, Lungu branded. This is beneath the level that we expect Zambia has reached now. Not even KK wamuyaya sunk so low. And who funded the books anyway, our President cannot possibly have so much money to donate everything from branded school books to cement in churches, to presidential youth and women empowerment funds.

“Eastern Province Minister Hon Makebi Zulu……has challenged school going Children to decide and determine their future by paying attention in school now”. Mr Minister you are doing the opposite, how do you expect a pupil to concentrate on his lessons when he or she at such tender ages is bombarded with controversial figures every time they look at their books? I am not suggesting that President Lungu is…

  5. ….contd…
Mr Minister you are doing the opposite, how do you expect a pupil to concentrate on his lessons when he or she at such tender ages is bombarded with controversial figures every time they look at their books? I am not suggesting that President Lungu is controversial, all I am saying is that ALL politicians ARE controversial figures by their very nature, especially in current politics. It is our duty as government, political parties, citizens etc to protect these tender minds from political polution. We are educating Zambians not PF or upnd pupils, not Lungu or h.h or CK pupils but ZAMBIANS.
This is ill advised, Stop It For God’s Sake!!!

    • For once cader you have spoken sense…….looks like you are getting the idea of good governance….

  6. It would be very good if all political parties donated various items to schools including books. the beneficiaries are our children and not politicians. It doesn’t matter whether an exercise book is branded upnd, unip, pf or whatever, look at the bigger picture. Personally I would encourage such gesture for a simple reason, ”the beneficiaries are our children and not politicians”.

  7. This is the shamfull manifestation of the moral bankruptcy of lungus leadership.

What will school children learn if all politicians decided to donate books with their faces ?

Lungu is indeed a shamfull leader. The next generation will need serious pycological treatment to try and correct lungus moral corruption in the nation…..when I say lungu is of the worst integrity and morals , every week I am vindicated…..lungu will happily normalise and legalize corruption ….

  8. If you had to ask those school kids about the distance they cover to reach school you will be shocked and they learn on an empty stomach, we need more than that mr minister. They can’t concentrate on empty stomachs and textbooks are more needed than just mere exercise books.

  9. #6.1 Spaka lilo, I am not in the same class of thinkers like you, jjjjjs or your other fellow upnd cadres and leaders. I am worlds and galaxies different from simpleton cadres like you who cannot use your whole brain to think preferring to use the lower 1% of your capacity. I criticise, advise and condemn as required. For exampke when I say that h.h is no option for leadership of this country, I mean no spite, he has proved it himself, and he has failed and refused to cleanse himself of his tribal launch.

  10. ….I also think that your h.h is arrogant and incorrigible while my ECL is 90% the opposite, he can learn from his surroundings and from sentiments, while h.h can’t imagine for one moment that any Zambian can think better than him. That us is h.h still can’t accept that Zambians refused to demonstrate for him when he was safely locked away in Mukobeko, he actually called us all idoits.

  11. What a ridiculous way to campaign, politicize and indoctrinate children. Shameful. What happened to having normal neutral educational stationary that is not festered with dark selfish political perversions?

  12. I feel multiplication tables and equations are a better way of branding school books, this is so selfish and unfair. Children should not be subconsciously be made to belive one man will make their lives better. Let them grow up and see the world for what it is themselves. Take away those ridiculous politically branded books.
