  1. Impressed with Mr Mwamba, actually, he held his own in a very excellent and satisfying way. He has finally grown from his old whiny tone, with an irritating squeaky voice. After many misfiring, I would say he has finally arrived in the land of soberness, calmness and maturity in the face opposition, a sign befitting a diplomat. Good job, young man

    • VIPUBA va gulisa Ziko kuli tu ma Chinese.
Go to kalingalinga, Luburma & see how Chinese are selling chickens, salaula.
All construction projects are being given to Chinese contractors. The money does not even touch Zambia as Chinese come with their own labourers, equipment, raw materials. The roads last only 3 years but the debt will be with us for 200 years.

      – Chinese firm Star Times took over DeadNBC for defaulting on their $25m debt
      – Zambian Govt is handing over Indeni Refinery to AVIC construction.
      – NRDC, Chimbokaila prison, Lusaka East forest, Luburma Market all have been given to Chinese
      – RATSA has been given to Lamise.

This clown is a joke still living in denial.
Zesco has been run down by importation of expensive emergency power from Mozambique to alleviate…

    • @ Maloza VIPUBA VIBILIVA MA FAKE NEWS AND COLONIALISTS LIKE AFRICA COFIDENTIAL. VIPUBA ARE ALWAYS IN DENIAL ABOUT EFFORTS TO DEVELOP THEIR OWN COUNTRY…. VIPUBA STUBBORLY BELIEVE IN COLONIALIST NO MATTER WHAT… MUKAZI BELENGA AND GAIN KNOWLEDGE ABOUT SOVEREIGN DEBT…THERE IS NO COLLATERAL FOR SOVEREIGN DEBT… DON”T BE A CLOWN NI UPUBA

  2. I like Emmanuel. The man is sharp and very articulate. He can well be used back here in Zambia than place him in SA as High Commissioner

  3. Mwaamba is a just a talker…… PR work and he is not competent to tell us about our debts…. Margaret Mwanakante is better placed

  4. I do not really like Emmanuel Mwamba, but we have to admit he has done a very good job at explaining Zambia’s debt problem. Emanuel Mwamba can do a better job than Amos Chanda who usually talks like he is talking to children, in fact he should really be considered for Minister of Information. He presents himself very well, but someone please explain why he is not married?

  5. he is married to a lozi woman and has nice kids…… His wife is related to Fred Meembe. He is a pure PR man who may mislead people…… Trust him at your peril……… He know when to seek attention and even Great Leader is duped by him…. Ask him how he became PS immediately PF won under Sata after the demise of President chiluba who was an great ally of Rupiah bwezani (MMD)

  6. Nonsense. First the GDP he is using is a fraud assessment. First all the products assessed in the GDP are not Zambian owned. No copper is owned by Zambia anymore. The worst part is every ngwee realized from those products is externalized. So, how does that translate into economic growth if the money is in China and Europe? False analysis.

Second, what Mwamba is telling you is that China is not sophisticated and don’t ask for collateral in case of default? What happened to Sri Lanka port? China sends smart fresh graduates to negotiate debt while you send Kampyongo, Lusambo, Miyanda. Don’t be fuuuled Zambians.

Third, why didn’t Mwamba say how Zambia is working with the IMF? How long has Zambia been knocking at IMF doors for debt relief? Why do you think they went to beg in another…

  7. Why do you think they went to beg in another economically struggling country, Turkey? Desperation.

Fourth, do you in your normal senses think Mwamba would be saying Zambia is in an economic crisis? Are you that hopelessly dolt?

Fifth, is there a specific reason he did not mention KKIA, ZNBC, NRDC, and other entities already taken or sold?

  8. If Mwamba was going to make sense, he should have talked about GDP Per Capita in relation to the unemployment rate. Look at the ratios. He also must have talked about GDP with poverty rates. Please people, don’t be deceived. Your country is gone. If this is not true, why is every economic news outlet worried about Zambia being gobbled by China? We have become the laughing stock of Africa over our borrowing and doltly losing our sovereignty.

You can sing all your dolt praises, but reality is Zambia is gone. Borrowed for roads, but ended up losing who we are. We should have borrowed to strengthen manufacturing, but I think I am asking for too much knowing who the president is. Another hopelessly dolt man.

  9. I think it’s time to give up. We lost our country, not because of China, but ourselves and the kind of leadership we opt for. Look, in 21st Century, we have grade 12s as Minister. In fact in the majority. How wouldn’t China take over a country like that? We are a shame to ourselves and the generations to come. The choices we make determines the level of development we achieve. Nothing inhibits is, but ourselves.

  10. Ignorance and being deceived is bliss pamu Zambian. We love being ignorant and ultimately dolt. We would die for it. Dance for it. Look at how the ignorants threw gee into the fire just on a non substantive interview. That’s why we are ultimately the first country in Africa on the chopping board.

  11. Really, the man lamentably failed to answer most questions and kept digressing. He is a propagandist and he kept waffling. Chinese loans come in two forms either concessional or commercial. It’s the commercial loans that have become burdensome. But he tells us all Chinese loans are concessional and nor predatory in nature. Please let’s not play with words and the government should let experts explain this situation to the world. Allowing politicians in the guise of ambassadors labour to explain is embarrassing the country. We have allowed doltads to be in leadership and these are the painful results we are getting…
