Baroka boss backing Wedson despite poor start

Wedson Nyirenda has been received a vote of confidence from the Baroka FC chairman despite a poor start to his reign at the South African PSL club.

The ex-Chipolopolo coach has won one match, drawn two and Baroka are second from bottom after seven rounds of matches played.

“I think with time they will be able to find themselves. There’s no pressure on the coach at all. We are going to give him our support and we are going to give him more time. There’s no pressure on him at all. We believe in his ability to execute his job,” Baroka boss Khurishi Mphahlele told

Baroka are in action on Wednesday night when they host Free States who are five places above them at on 7 points and chasing their third league win of the campaign.

  1. I dont think anybody wants him to fail. He is failing. If you believe his boss that there is no pressure on the coach you are naive. wining one game out of 7 is cause for pressure if he was all over about his first win and draw. Kulibonesha is not good at times. I think he is a great coach but taking a ka team like Baroka is a big gamble. I personally feel that his success is a Jane Sikazwe to Zambia. In case you speak Greek I mean its a good thing for the nation
