Nitrogen Chemicals workers

Nitrogen Chemicals of Zambia Management in Kafue has started paying its over 1200 former casual workers their leave days allowance.

And the former Workers have commended the Zuze Banda led management for promptly paying them their allowances saying the money will help them address some of the many challenges they are currently facing.

Friday Simbeye who spoke on behalf of former workers thanked management for listening to their plea for help and hoped management will equally pay all other former workers who are owed money by the fertilizer manufacturing company.

“First and foremost, I want to say thank you to Mr. Zuze Banda, the Chief Executive Officer for NCZ, Mr Muyapekwa the General Manager, Mr. Chewe the Human Resources Manager and the entire NCZ management for showing leadership, this is how a good management should operate. The money could not have come at a better time than now when we are getting into the festive season”, Mr. Simbeye said.

“Our Colleagues who work for various Councils across the country and those from ZamPost are up in arms with their managements for failing to pay them but us here at NCZ we have gotten our money without difficulties. We shall put the money to good use, as you know we are in the farming season and very soon schools will reopen, so this money will really help us”, He added

Simbeye further appealed to the Industrial Development Corporation to maintain the current NCZ management saying the company was headed for success because of the good management that is in place.

“Some of us have worked for NCZ close to 8 years, we know the company very well and I can tell you NCZ is in the right hands, just give them 2 years, you will what NCZ will turn to be”, Mr. Simbeye said.

    • We always get confused when the long-awaited cash comes ending in wrong decisions and priorities. Hope Mr Simbeye will sit down, cool off and tabulate items required. …essentially things that are beneficial.
